For what it's worth, myself and the owner of Electro & Co. had about an hour long conversation with Mike Burkeen (aka SlowOldGuy) today that I thought was very constructive. While I don't necessarily agree with the all of the concerns raised regarding integrating electric bikes into existing classes, I do believe that there is desire on both sides to work towards a safe and viable solution over the coming years. That’s fucking lame. But it is the AMA and we all know they are complete fucking idiots and RARELY do what is right for the sport of motocross/dirt bike racing. Fucking pathetic. If you take that personal…not sorry.

The other 99.9% of the riders can race them at local events. AMA should stick to their museum only.

Thanks for unearthing this topic, reading what some wrote a little less than one year ago is hilarious. Now over 2000 bikes have been made, in Arenacross UK the Varg made 4 podiums out of 6 races with Thomas Do, they're doing the rest of the 2024 season with a 3 riders team consisting of Justin Bogle, Jack Brunell and Eddie Jay Wade, season starts again in a couple of days, how time flies! Can't wait to see who will ride it in AUS SX later this year, and if someone will give it a go at some AUS MX...

I'm not saying the Varg is going to be everything they want it to be. But if its able to go 30 to 45 minutes with a pro level rider on a single charge then I think its a great start. And it would give you a similar range to a full tank of gas on a gas bike .I think its very obvious that electric can not totally replace gas right now for many types of vehicles. A motocross bike, ridden on motocross tracks in short races like most motocross races are is a place that they could work...
