This is very much on point. For some reason the entire production is about 'telling a story'. These guys jabber on and on and on. Its even worse when they send it down to WillC, total cringe. Just call the dammed race. Leave all that story garbage for the copious amounts of downtime.

I feel like they talk about a racers background, their results 2 years ago, Rd1 and 2. They talk about their teams and coaches. To much talk about things that does not matter. There is a race going on, and Blair and RC is not "in it". I have to do my analyze myself figuring out who runs faster lap times than the other, who is closing in, when someone could catch up. Like when coop went after Sexton. Not one word until coop is 1sec behind and suddenly it's like a suprise for Blair and RC he is there...

I'd say the modern 4 Strokes are impressively reliable, especially for race / performance machinery, it's no joke. If they do let go, I can see the previous meme being pretty accurate, but it is what it is, stuff can blow up after a few hours if you're unlucky or go a few hundred if the stars align... But if it does... I can appreciate both for different reasons.

My guess is this was the main damage and the Barcia incident finished it off.

Yes, I like them, they provide a great night's racing. I do get the feeling that some don't value them as a " real " win though. A great night for us Aussies, a win in what appears to be an un winnerble battle. Please excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes, in advance.

Triple crowns are the shit. They add some real spice and it's funny because they reward consistency and also flashes of brilliance. You can get a podium for the first time in a moto/race ala Friese or get a great result via 3 good performances. I reckon 3 per year is perfect, one for each coast and a shootout. Also this stadium is perfect for it so they should make it an Arizona tradition moving forward.

My biggest frustration in NC was getting enough seat time to feel ready to go racing. East Bend in Winston Salem is racing all the time and has a lot of practice days, most reliable schedule of anywhere, but its a very small track. They split up practice such that you are usually capped at 15min motos, one per hour...

Stewart had unique speed and the balls to back it up. Carmichael had raw speed but smaller balls than Stewart. Carmicheal was smarter when it came to race craft and strategy. He looked at the big picture. Reed had both balls and strategy but was often a tad off on the raw speed needed to hang with the above two dudes. In their prime with today's technology and equipment coupled with the modern era of the science of training, nutrition and recovery they would be right up there. Both Villopoto and Dungey learned from the above three dudes. Equipment had...

The nitro circus boys did bigger gaps on big wheels. And didn’t have any harness. Agree with lostboy. This was incredible lame.
