I don't mean it as disrespect towards Kenny, but he can't stay healthy. He has a kid now and needs to think long term. If he can't stay healthy he needs to retire and focus on his health.

Hopefully its not the last we've seen of Kenny. The Epstein Barr virus lie has been perpetuated in this sport for so long. Why not just come out and say, "my heads just not right, I need to go home and work on some things to get my speed and confidence back". Because that's what the real story is every time we hear about E.B.. Said rider is usually in a slump and then they come out with a press release claiming this rare virus. ONLY in moto have I ever heard of Epstein Barr.

He seems to have a very poor immune system since his big arm injuries. First Epstein Barr and now it seems covid has hit him hard. It's a damn shame that we will probably never see a 100% healthy Roczen again.

It's frustrating to be a Roczen fan, and I bet it's frustrating to BE Roczen. Only he knows what's really going on, but man he used to be so hyped to be racing.
It seems like it's all changed for him, and understandably so considering his injuries and "illnesses."
Only thing I question is why it took SO long for them to pull the plug. Has to be a lot of frustration on both sides of this debacle.
Ken seems like a genuinely good dude, but he lost the fire it takes to be a contender a while ago it seems.

I really think he is in such a mental conundrum that he can’t get out of his own head. He’s had a slew of injuries that could have easily ended his career.
If you are not in the right headspace in this sport it can lead to bad consequences. Not sure how he overcomes the mental aspect of that.
Maybe it’s something physically wrong and I’m way off but it just seems to be a mental thing. He has more talent than anybody, just can’t put a season together anymore.

The human body can only go through so much, after years of pushing his body to the limit mixed with the terrible injuries he must just be very prone to medical issues when training at the elite level these guys do.
I love Roczen but I would prefer to see him hang up his boots rather than putting himself, the team and the fans through this anguish every year.

Said he had it after San Diego. Sounds kind of fishy though. Must not have been a bad case if he was able to get a negative test result by the next round so he could race.
