The only reason I can see them wanting Jorge to payout his contract is if they paid him for the full 3 years up front. No way their would be arguing to get their money back, even if he was clearly mailing it in at the end.

I am amazed that everyone is giving Jason a pass on leaving Kawi, when was the last time both 450 riders of any team basically quit without underlying team issues? I would categorize that Jason “quietly quit” kawi with a commonly used “personal reasons” excuse, then stopped riding and everyone gave him a pass… maybe there is more to the “it’s the bike/team” than everyone thinks … ET left Kawi for the same reason!

Should never have been “in” after his injury/dipshittery. The whole debacle was a slap in the face to Cooper, who was gracious enough to step up. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t expect anything less from the AMA, who (in the words of Joe Pesci) could “fuck up a cup of coffee.”

My point of posting that is there's always going to be this sort of "hype" when the next hopeful comes up to challenge the established dominant riders. The problem though with Jace's statement, is that it's more likely Deegan is going to have a couple trying years in the premier class (in Supercross) just like RC did. Deegan is not a freak like Stewart was. He will not be an immediate threat and just ride away from everyone. Even so, how did 2005 go? Anaheim was a mudder and Stewart broke himself in Phoenix. Hype dead. Deegan will be fine...

Imagine a lineup full of Jett, Hunter, Eli, Chase, RJ Hampshire, Haiden, Cole Davies, Jo Shimoda, and Chance Hymas. I think Hammaker could be one of those legendary guys as well. 2027-2030 is going to be crazy. Add some names if I missed some 👍
