I dont know how obvious he is trying to make his next move - he has liked a couple of these Yamaha comments on his IG even in previous posts as well as posted old photos of him on the Yamaha mini so at this point he is either trolling at a high level or the telegraph is now there for all to see. @LewisPhillips you need to spill the tea my guy....

That's a bold take for Sexton to go back to ktm. He wasn't jiving with the team non necessarily the bike. Not to mention ktm has gotten pretty packed. As to PRMX? Idk that's kind of a small team with no real support. When Windham went to Factory Connection, Laracoo had a team that had support and honda promised a factory bike for Kdub. With the amount of support going to Star, Clubmx for bikes/parts I'm not sure prix would have much let alone a salary of any measure for him; Sexton would have to go over with just personal...

A little food for thought on this, Kawasaki just hired a mechanic away from pc to work for Mookie. I asked him why don’t they move over Montoya for him, he said because he will be with Chase next year. I said are you sure, he said as far as he knew.

Kawasaki was not negotiating from a position of strength, doubt they had much choice on giving Malcolm 2 years if they wanted to sign him. Chase to KTM is an easy sell. KTM admits they had shock issues, which was nearly all of his issue there, and fills the void left by losing two fan favorites for two foreigners. Chase admits the grass wasn't greener elsewhere and shows some humility, signs bonus heavy deal, they kiss and make up. Doesn’t matter. A factory ride is a factory ride. Kawasaki desperately needs a shot of positive PR after their latest episode with Prado & Sexton. Malcom provides fan favoritism and a guy who doesn’t generally bitch & moan about bike setup…at least publicly. He’ll be in the top-10 consistently and will keep Kawasaki from being the pariah it’s become recently. Mookie will end his career there & be just fine.

From where I'm standing, Sexton's best bets are Ducati in the USA or whatever he can come up with in Europe...which would probably have "allowances" for SX in the U.S. Also, even after Prado's weird year, I'm not joining the mob on throwing all of this on Kawasaki's shoulders...he DID run a PC/KMC set-up at Anaheim and he won. Then he went back to losing his shit...again. I'm not hating on the kid; but, his history with "set-up" at his previous teams wasn't all that great...all the while his team-mates were doing pretty damn good. Or did we all forget...

Update Heard from my Rep yesterday, for 2027 Representative Matt Commons (district 13 which includes Attica/Badlands) will be introducing this language again, co-authored by my Rep Lori Goss-Reaves. Apparently what I started has gained some traction and others in the state are pushing their Reps to call for action. I suggest other hoosiers start calling and emailing their Representatives as well to voice support so we can get this through and protect our sport.

Not to take away from marchbanks, but when you’re on Jett/chase level bike setup and very minor things become a huge difference. They are riding these bikes literally to their limit. Not saying it isn’t important for marchbanks too, but chase needs perfection to get that 0.5 sec on the track to battle Jett. Theres a big difference being 4-10 place and top 3 consistently.

Kawasaki - They need to fire Fahe, and maybe a couple other execs. Last 3-4 years have been atrocious. Chase could still be "in" I think. Honda - no. Yamaha - Maybe. My algorithm keeps bringing him up there, with a decent past relationship. KTM - No. Also, didn't they go through a huge restructuring last year, where they about lost everything? I guess that's why Husky and GasGas disbanded. Suzuki - Seeing the posts here, that looks promising, especially if Roczen retires. Ducati - I thought I heard someone recently say they had a really tight budget = no...
