I truly understand what point you are trying to make, I sincerely do. But what boils my O+ is when Cotter and Crew asks me to come work their event, 12 hour plus days, all knowing what I do for a living, and asking me to do said work at their event.....for 100 bucks a day, with no place to sleep provided, nor meals. "It's not much pay Bub, but it's for the love of the sport!" Willing to bet the entire farm, and your house cat, his ass isn't making poverty pay while he is on the job at...

If this were the standard in the 90s we never would have had a James and we never would have had a Ricky. Both were poor kids with insane talent. You want to frame it more as a business than a sport, and that's fine, but it shows where your values lie. If the trend continues, we will deserve to lose to the Euros, as we continue to artificially restrict the effective talent pool for the enrichment of one family.

After riding around the pits tonight, I can tell you there does not seem to be a shortage of cash (or good credit) at the big show. People have been camped there for a week + for this. I pulled in today mid day and im damn near in the next county in lot 5. I guarantee you the people there paying 100 per device for wifi will be streaming the flo app in their rigs all week. Lol Place sure has changed since the last time I raced it 26 years ago.

It's not all hate, but a large part is he pretends it's not about the money at all. He tends to hide behind "growing the sport" when he's just trying to grow his accounts. Which, as a business owner, is actually fine. Just own it. Don't play the game of trying to make everything believe it's not all about the money.

DC runs MX sports like a business man same as Trump or Musk run their businesses. Make as much money as possible. Why does everyone hate only DC?

I live about 3 hours away and I usually go alone. It’s $87.80 for me to go watch one day and now they wanna charge $40 to watch online! Unbelievable.

I'm here and will say the number of workers at 730 PM was impressive. Multiple cops at the front entrance, people signing you in, workers at every corner and gate directing you were to go and men on tractors assisting if anyone stuck. It's a well oiled machine.

why do you persist with the white knighting and horribly weak analogies. you haven't produced a P&L either yet you have just as much or more conviction in your viewpoint as your opponents. you keep saying the same thing. over. and over. we get it.

Everything comes to an end at some point. EVERYTHING. Including DC's stranglehold on this sport (at some point). And let's be honest - they're going to lose their ass on this deal: Have no clue what production costs are, but how many people are going to spend $40 to watch amateur kids race? That's right = grandma. That's pretty much about it.

Its honestly sad to watch these 70 year old men destroy something right in front of our eyes because they have no foresight into viewership metrics and organic marketing. They are so focused on greasing every fucking penny out of this sport and squeezing every dime in any way they can get it they completely have lost the big picture. When Lorettas was free to watch on youtube, it was probably the MOST accessible mainstream coverage we will get. Its FREE, it would show up on anybody that's adjacently into motorsports feed and potentially pull in new and YOUNG viewers...
