This used to be a great place to come and bench race. On occasion we’d do good things together, even tho we’d never met in person. It’s clear that Jett did not put in his best in the first moto. In the second he probably did. But if you WANT to win and you see your main competitor on the ground the first lap you sprint as much as you can. Not drop an anchor, looking backwards in every turn and ”race” with riders you normally lap. Then an hour later with some tape on your foot you can all of a sudden podium and run a decent pace again?. He looked as fine with this result today as he did going in to this weekend...
