I agree with this. We want Jett to be challenged. Us Vital fans are a little nutz. And most of us do want to see Prado do well. He doesnt and it pisses us all off. Thats normal. I talk to my psychiatrist a couple times a week and she knows who Prado is now. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I agree Chase will likely figure it out, but he is so damn dialed with the pumpkin right now. The roles were reversed today with Chase riding as smooth as butter and making Jett push to make the mistakes. Rare sight but awesome day of racing.

They are legends. That’s my era, don’t get me wrong, but in SX, you drop Jett and Chase on Chad and James’ bikes back then and they win. Amateurs are better than they were 20 years ago. Privateers are better than they were 20 years ago. Top Pros are better than they were 20 years ago. The sport grows and elevates.

I watched every moto today uninterrupted because I pay for a peacock subscription. It’s also why I always laugh when people say all the races should be on network TV instead of streaming. I don’t know a single person under the age of 30 that pays for a cable subscription or uses rabbit ears. Seeing how often they have cut to commercials during the peacock stream when it’s on NBC reminds me of how shitty of an experience network TV is. $25 for a full year of uninterrupted racing with Peacock + whatever shows they have in there, no reason...

I thought him passing Jett was pretty impressive too. Too bad we didn't get to see Moto 2 play out, those guys were all going at it. And then Chase passes Hunter around the outside and gets it taken away on the restart. NIce rebound.

People saying that Chase gets unnecessary amount of hate and criticism, but today showed exactly why people are like this, because they still have Chase as their only hope to beat Jett and today he finally did. How often did the discussion came up that he never beat Jett straight up? Well it happened today and hopefully that first moto gave him all the confidence in the world and we see more of that, fuck yeah Chase!

Most impressive thing he did today was not go full Sexton trying to win the moto!

I do not expect that relationship to last at all. Those are two huge egos and the results are not good.

That first 15 min of Moto 1 and then Moto 2 before the restart was what MX fans dream of, was just a joy to watch. As an Eli fan, I'm just happy to see him putting in the effort still, and I consider it a privilege to still be able to watch him line up and still try to be better. Pumped for Sexton. Hope that's a real pick me up and he can continue with the confidence. Jett looked great as ever.

Guys we just witnessed history, Jett losing an overall without crashing out of the moto. It really happened. Grats to Chase, that first moto was super impressive to watch, more of that please! Also I took the biggest L today and probably jinxed Jett. 😂
