Classes are worth the money for all the consumables you will be going through and proper instruction. However, there are really good youtube tutorials out there. Miller and Lincoln also have some pdf welding handbooks on their site for each process (stick, tig, mig) also.

His Dakar 2018 coverage is pretty epic. I don't know how the heck his video guy reviewed and edited hours of footage together to have ready the next day...

You can turn the CD into a "virtual CD" with a program called MagicISO. It will take the CD data and turn it into a .iso file can be copied to a hard drive or USB drive. The other computer will be able to treat that .iso file the same as a CD if you also have MagicISO on it.
