I think he said on the Whiskey Throttle show that he would consult. I think if RV is looking for some help he is going to get it,

As much of an infomercial as that was, it makes me worried that he might end up auditioning for QVC.......

Worried? You wouldn't want motorcycle products on QVC? Sounds like a good idea.

Nothing wrong with that.

sounds about like what I'd expect a brand ambassador to pitch. I think it's cool...he never tried to say he did all the work (ala Seely). What Seely did was way more interesting to me, but it's good seeing different people get into dual sport.

It wouldn't be near as cool, but I have to imagine Yamaha would prefer him to be ripping around on a more stock-ish bike.

Maybe. At least he uses the a lot of the same after market products that the Factory Yamaha SX/ MX team does. Although he did say he had a custom PC exhaust. That's probably not available to the public.

It would have to be a YZ450FX with lights if they wanted him on a stock bike. The US WR's still come with the throttle stops...
