Dr.201 Added a reply to Braktec front brake.
4/2/2023 10:18am I’m curious as well. My 23 gasgas 350 front brake is god-awful compared to my 21 450sxf. Will I have to replace the brake-tech caliper with the 21 ktm Brembo caliper but I’m thinking that swapping the master cylinder would have more effect than the caliper? Maybe just get both? What are these pads you speak of?

3/30/2023 6:25pm Same issue on my 2023 mc350 at 8 hours. I’m missing 8 knobs and both sides are cracked all the way around. I’m going to Dunlop. Tires need replaced every 8-10 hours anyway. Part of the game.

11/28/2022 2:41pm I have a small track in the boonies in Indiana with low turnouts so maybe that’s why mine is cheaper? Sure is tough owning a moto track. Definitely do it for the love of the sport, not the money

3/9/2021 8:55am It was around 2010 and I was racing at a track called horseshoe bend in Kentucky. It was a decent paying race and I was signed up to run the usual open a and lites a. I thought it was the usual suspects until I showed up to the gate and saw Tyler bowers, Nathan Skaggs, Ryan and Justin sipes...

9/23/2019 4:52pm I love mine, and pretty confident I would do very well in a vital mx member race lol as far as speed in concerned, I know a lot of other fast guys riding them too they love them, with a little work they are super solid and extremely reliable unit.

9/10/2019 7:31am Just got my track built this weekend beyond pumped on how it turned out for having very little dirt on site, and only day and half with a dozer and skidsteer, now I just need to figure out something to do basic maintenance to it with, cant see the one end lane in photos, but for only having like 1.7 acres to work with it came out sweet with my decent little hill I have too, have couple lanes on the top of hill with some small doubles cant see and a cool little hip jump too. Anyone use a...

7/25/2019 4:22pm Maybe you are trying to jump your dirtbike with mountain bike technique? I'm new to mountain bikes and the jumping doesn't really translate but everything else does. Maybe watch some videos on youtube for mx jumping skills or attend a local camp?

6/25/2019 5:18pm For the average weekend warrior with a limited skill set, you guys are right. Absolutely. But re read what I wrote. These kids go fast no matter what. Smooth, rough, they're going much faster on extremely rough stuff than the guys that come to a crawl in rough stuff. Why maximize the opportunity for catastrophe? Going crazy fast, it takes 1 tiny mistake n it's over.

6/24/2019 12:42pm Meister has a point about the guys who are going for it on the rough stuff. The rough stuff doesn't slow them down much and their chances of crashing increases dramatically so I suppose it's a little give and take on both sides of the speed spectrum. Plus a groomed track helps level the playing field a bit. I think...

6/24/2019 7:17am I agree to an extent. At a regional these kids can go fast on ANYTHING though. One tiny mess up, your swapped out or on the ground. Kid was top 10 in B. He was fast. He knew how to ride. The riders around him were also very talented, going very fast. A super rough track just leaves less room for error, am I wrong? It may slow it down a little, but bigger mistakes happen more often.

6/24/2019 7:16am I completely agree. I was the 3rd to last moto of the day (30+) and I ran practice and the first moto. After the first moto I knew I had no business racing and loaded up. I'm glad I did. Especially after what happened to that kid and after breaking my humerus back in January which also killed my confidence...

5/23/2019 1:07pm $20 bucks says you'll finish in the same position in your given race on any current 450. People bitch just to bitch. I think buying the zook and spending the extra 5g's going racing is going to have more of a posive impact on your riding than any fancy and overpriced bike ever could.

5/21/2019 4:08am Henry’s injuries were before my time, I never knew the extent of his recovery but pourcels was no joke and I cannot fathom the amount of mental strength he had to come back from being in a paralyzed state which he very very much was. To be a champion, get injured and then change everything in the recovery and be on an American starting gate for his first time back and win was insane. U can call that something special.

Dr.201 Added a reply to Any tracks or trails near Panama City, FL??
4/11/2019 4:20am Depends on what you call close. County line mx is probably the closest public track and imo is an amazing facility that is open about every day and is fully prepped. I know the guys who run the ktm shop in panama city might be able to guide you to some private tracks if you play your cards right. Let...
