I’m a recent college grad and I’ll be moving to PCB in a couple of months. Wanted to know if there are some tracks close by over there since I really don’t wanna stop riding. Thanks!

Depends on what you call close. County line mx is probably the closest public track and imo is an amazing facility that is open about every day and is fully prepped. I know the guys who run the ktm shop in panama city might be able to guide you to some private tracks if you play your cards right. Let me know what you find out about the private tracks!

MP Countyline is a really good facility that is making big improvements from year to year. It is my understanding they are open daily but shut down for July and August I believe.

Mike Stevenson has a track about 20 minutes outside Panama City that I ride every time I go on vacation. It’s called STC.

There used to be a track right off of hwy 231 in Bay county. It was about 30 minutes north of PCB. I just remember seeing the sign when we were driving down. Not sure if it's still there.

There is a couple of members on here from the area, I am sure they will chime in. I hear County Line is a great facility and still growing. It has been rained out the last two times I tried to go. Depending on how far you are willing to drive, you are not a terrible haul from several tracks (3-4 hours). E.g I am about 3.5 hours from County Line and Monster Mountain is basically local for us.

Thanks for answering so fast people, I appreciate it. I do not know anything about the area or if there are many people who ride over there and this really helps me figure out if its worth buying a bike or not when I move. Just checked STC and MP CountyLine and they are both 1hr away from where I will be working and staying.

Awesome man. Be careful with the area. Do not let it suck you in (If you've ever had a partying mentality). Spent many of Spring Breaks down there before they got all strict (2008-12ish). I always swore I would move down there, but it was far too toxic for someone like me back then. I have seen the inside of the hoosegow down there, looks like the green mile and 10/10 do not recommend. Lol. Let us know when you get settled in. I been looking for a reason to make the haul to MP again anyways.

Been in PCB for a few years now.

Best local track is Countyline by far, big layout, great owners, good dirt just a super fun place. Open everyday weather dependent however they do shutdown for July, August and some of September. Mike Stevenson's place STC is pretty fun and Mike is a great coach if you're looking to get faster.

Around the 2 hour mark puts you at Green Acres, Atmore MX, Milton MX. I would personally rather drive another 1 or 2 hours to ride the tracks below.

3 hours puts you at WW Ranch or GPF

4 hours and Monster Mountain, War Eagle MX or Shorter MX are available, each one is excellent and way worth the trip.

The town has all major Japanese dealerships, albiet the Kawasaki one is basically useless for dirtbikes. KTM dealer is about an hour away.

Only trails are Hardlabor Creek off-road park, I'm not sure on their current status after the storm. I have heard rumor they closed for public use but are still accepting club memberships and club members can ride the property. It had a bunch of trails and an MX track on it.
