Alessi got landed on about a dozen times at Red Bud and was back on the podium before the end of the season.

pourcel had the most severe injury and struggled to be back again. he won 2 titles and almost won another 2 so its a great comeback. his attitude stoped him from winning more.
on the other gand everts was considered semi retired at the start of 00's. in 97 as reigning champion he collapsed and lost the title to tortelli in the last race in my country greece. at 98 and 99 he broke his knee at the beggining of the seasons. in 2000 he signed with husqvarna to ride an all new and and not so reliable 4 stroke. this time he broke his arm. and then he signed to yamaha and won 6 straight titles!

Who would downvote this. The guy was paralysed and came back to win his first race back and the SX championship. I'm pretty sure he still had to piss into a bag for a long time.

Because he's french I guess...

I'd say Pourcel, Roczen, Henry in no particular order

Pourcel, Pastrana, Henry they all won titles after their injuries.

Roczen has won one race after his injuries, if that is the standard then Canard should be way ahead of Roczen on this list.

Pourcel and Henry immediately spring to mind.

What was Twitch's big injury again?

Henry's crash stands out the most. Then the broken arms. I still remember him getting to the fence having someone pull his goggles. Pioneer of the 4 banger movement after the back injury.

Then Kroc. Double arm whammys through a meat grinder.

Pourcel.

Henry’s injuries were before my time, I never knew the extent of his recovery but pourcels was no joke and I cannot fathom the amount of mental strength he had to come back from being in a paralyzed state which he very very much was. To be a champion, get injured and then change everything in the recovery and be on an American starting gate for his first time back and win was insane. U can call that something special.

This is a hard one.... there are so many. You could honestly include most of these guys, Reed in his later years, Tomac from double shoulders, villo and his legs, Seely, canard, Millsaps, Let's not discredit anyone of the guys that stayed in the thick while coming back from serious injury.

Craig and his back injury is another one.

There was also an ex pro on here i thought that actually had his leg amputated and got back on the bike to win an X Games gold i think? Cant remember his name. Any of those adaptive X Games riders count in this topic i would suggest.

Josh Demuth is the one who had his leg amputated.

Peick next year
That would be right up there ... All of the mentioned were gnarly in their own way. A lot of really bad injuries in this sport, I really hate that part.
With Roczen’s arm injuries and Weston’s injuries, Seely’s injury gets over looked. His injury was very serious and could’ve ended his career as well.
There is a very long list of Them, that’s for sure ! I wouldn’t put them in any kind of order, they are all gnarly in their own way.

With massive respect to Twitch, he did a tib and fib, and an ankle from memory? Whilst they are no small injuries by any means, they're not in the same field as Pourcel and Henry.
