Husky 501. The lever has a lot of take up. About an inch before it stars applying the brake. It's consistent, stiff, and easy to modulate. But only halfway into the travel. I've tried other bikes with the same master, and they felt similar. Any way to get instant lock like with Brembos?

Nope.
You can try a reverse bleed. They have a different feel more similar to Magura than Brembo. They work just fine but don’t have the on and off light switch feel of the Brembo. I prefer my Magura over Brembo but don’t love the feel of the stock Bractek lever profile. Adjust the lever further out.

New pads have solved the problem. Too bad the dealer was of no help.

Do you know if there are any aftermarket Braketech clutch and brake levers.

I’m curious as well. My 23 gasgas 350 front brake is god-awful compared to my 21 450sxf. Will I have to replace the brake-tech caliper with the 21 ktm Brembo caliper but I’m thinking that swapping the master cylinder would have more effect than the caliper? Maybe just get both? What are these pads you speak of?

Try an Arc lever and adjust the “throw” out a bit.  Might be a good compromise
