If I had Eli's money I would also do stem cell therapy, peptide therapy, and roids if it helped with the healing process of the Achilles. And this is coming from a guy who also ruptured his Achilles tendon, it is a devastating injury and limits me to this day(but mine happened during a practice day when I was in my 50's).

I don't know Brian personally but I had ridden with him at Pala when he was just an Alta fan boy. Say what you will but the guy rides and rides well.

5/17/2023 11:34pm Yeah i hope he takes as long as he needs to recover and i hope star is ok with that and willing to give him a bike and all that when he’s back. If not than that will suck not seeing him on the brand that changed him for the better.

If this is indeed true , maybe it's a bright light , and a sign that 2024 SX is in his plans? Anyone thinking this is being done to try and do some Nationals, you are insane. If all goes well ( and I mean perfect) that's barely enough time to get ready for 2024 SX. But he's young and super healthy.....I can see it happening.

5/17/2023 9:36pm I would love him to race pala but thats too little recovery time. I'm not a doctor but ive been a student athletic trainer at my high school before i graduated and injuries take time, even if you do everything right, something may still go wrong.

5/17/2023 8:46pm I heard from someone in the pulp mx discord(not going to say who, if you want to find out, look for yourselves) that eli got stem cell treatment to speed up or shorten the recovery time for his achilles. If that is true, what’s the new timeline for his recovery?

Maybe I’m in denial but there’s no way a competitor like Eli hangs it up after going out like that Clearly he has unfinished business (from my perspective). I’m sure he’ll make the right decision for himself but going out on his terms seems like it would be pretty important. If that means another SX season and he doesn’t win the championship, at least he tried and went out with his head held high. If he does win, even better

Happy to see him feeling peaceful given how unforeseeable the situation is. I actually had a dream the night of the incident some footage was released where he was saying how things will be fine and he was expressing gratitude for his career (I think it was a part of me telling myself to calm down because I was so shocked at what happened). I’m glad he got to be such an exciting part of racing over the past decade plus. The past two years especially.
