I heard from someone in the pulp mx discord(not going to say who, if you want to find out, look for yourselves) that eli got stem cell treatment to speed up or shorten the recovery time for his achilles. If that is true, what’s the new timeline for his recovery?
Stem cells may not help much, so he will be better when he gets better.
Its true. He'll be ready for Pala. Stamp it!
I would love him to race pala but thats too little recovery time. I'm not a doctor but ive been a student athletic trainer at my high school before i graduated and injuries take time, even if you do everything right, something may still go wrong.
If this is indeed true , maybe it's a bright light , and a sign that 2024 SX is in his plans? Anyone thinking this is being done to try and do some Nationals, you are insane. If all goes well ( and I mean perfect) that's barely enough time to get ready for 2024 SX. But he's young and super healthy.....I can see it happening.

Just plate it and get back out there!
Oh sweet summer child.
Yeah i hope he takes as long as he needs to recover and i hope star is ok with that and willing to give him a bike and all that when he’s back. If not than that will suck not seeing him on the brand that changed him for the better.
Star will have a seat for him if he comes back for sx.
If he does come back I feel like those will be some awkward team dynamics with Webb and Tomac both at Star. That team has definitely got things figured out though.
He needs to pull out of the testing pool like Connor McGregor. Test, hgh, bit of deca, stem cells, and anything else to boost recovery and retain muscle mass. Then when he’s healed up he can decide to race again or retire and enjoy life as healthy as possible.
What would Lance Armstrong do?
Does moto have that?
I bet if he isn't at the gate, he isn't getting tested.
Tape the shit out of it and get out there!
Tomac is off on his own most of the time I don’t see it being any sort of big deal.
With kiddo #3 on the way. I think he's going to enjoy his summer off, get his mentality recharged and race 1 more full season or longer if he feels like it. Dude has been on a roll ever since he got on that Yamaha. Hard to bet that he'd hang it up after a freak injury like that.
I guess I could see it being weird, but I also think there is a lot of mutual respect between those two. Tomac is introverted and I feel like Webb only wants to play the mind games on the track. I think he also knows those don't really work on Eli, but who knows.
I was the one who mentioned it. I have a buddy who is extremely close to someone who would know, and I was told he went and got stem cell treatment last week to speed up the recovery.
As a Tomac superfan, I'm immediately pumped and this feels as if he is trying to get ready to be there at A1 healthy.
But with anything, only time will tell. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Pit Row
If I had Eli's money I would also do stem cell therapy, peptide therapy, and roids if it helped with the healing process of the Achilles. And this is coming from a guy who also ruptured his Achilles tendon, it is a devastating injury and limits me to this day(but mine happened during a practice day when I was in my 50's).
Or any other cyclists in the late 90s early 2000s
How long did it take Kobe Bryant?
AC talked about it in his podcast as he got stem cells for his wrist and he was saying they told him the best results will come about a year after treatment.
I get the optimism about him coming back, but maybe he's just trying to find the best treatment possible for his general health and it has NOTHING to do with racing a dirt bike again?
Whether he's thinking about racing again or not, I'm sure he would still prefer to get his achilles healed up as soon as possible.

Elk season is coming quick.
Haha exactly my thought as well!
They don’t have to be expensive.
Also, there’s a strong lack of understanding of stem cells in this thread.

Yes there is some confusion.....
If only we had someone,.......someone like a high school student athletic trainer that could help us
