I grew up riding in sand also, good for conditioning but not great for proper technique…my last few crashes were due to improper technique on the bike, I”m trying to fix my form but old habits die hard….I know what I need to do but you really need someone to video/ watch yourself to see what you look like…whenever I see a photo of myself riding… I cringe…

For me, checking sag is a safety issue. The better your suspension is set up, the less likely you are to get tossed on the ground in the event of those "oh sheet moments". Also, my son taught me that only 2 two things should be touching the ground. Make sure tire pressure is set every ride out.

I haven’t had any issues with mine but I only have 20hours on it.. But I’m an electronic tech for a living so I’m excited to tinker with it. People felt the same way when 4strokes went fuel injected. Now people would flip out if Honda put a carb on the new 2026 Honda 450.

A MC300, I’m a +60 vet intermediate, 160 lb, coming off a 22kx450, just looking for something lighter & more fun to ride, easy to work on. But Gota have good Suspension!!! Just don’t wanna buy a brand new bike then have to turn around and spend more money to get suspension...

I put the Kawasaki accessory engine hangers on mine, and I was very happy with the change. I’ll look for X-Trigs next. I’m happy with the way the bike feels and handles, but I hate picking my bike up mid-race and having my bars all twisted due to the rubber bar mounts.
