3/28/2025 3:01pm Help! Trying to change maps on 25yz250fx, so I tap the start button on bike, go to settings on phone, WiFi yam app opens, I go to the yam app, try to send map, it tells me ask permission???? Any thoughts??

2025 model year Japanese bikes won't be affected, they have already been imported, I don't know about Austrian bikes. If a tariff is applied it would effect 2026 model bikes.

The rule of thumb is: If you can't easily explain and prove how the expense benefits your business to the tax man when he comes knocking on your door, it's probably best to avoid it. Also, posting questions like this publicly and creating a nice paper trail of intent doesn't help much, either.

Happy birthday to you too! The 250fx is really nice - I was considering one of those or a crf250rx but decided to stick with the 125 for now. Enjoy it!

Picked up a 2025 YZ125X yesterday.....sort of an early 63rd birthday present to myself. Got it from Libbys Motoworld in New Haven,CT - they are excellent to do business with and always have any parts I may need. I prefer the X model because I'm more of a woods rider but do hit the track sometimes. Love the light weight and midrange power on these bikes too. I'm keeping my 2022 125X for a backup bike, and for my son to ride although I know he'll be stealing the 2025 from me when he can,😀

To those wondering why this is so popular..... we're talking about the race, the conditions, the bikes, how long some of the guys have been doing it...... and not a word about anyone being seriously injured. Along those same lines, 250 four stroke is plenty of bike to go racing on. 450s have advanced past the point of adding anything to it other than risk.

Always buy from your local dealership in person if you can! It’s slightly less convenient, but you help keep those local shops open and the relationship is reciprocal. Nothing beats having things available in person even if a lot of the time you have to order it. Those times that you can walk in and they’ve got what you need, you will have helped them make that possible.

I'm really old Bro. I'm not sure a 2 stroke screamer would be a good decision but then again riding and racing at my age is already a really bad decision lol

I’d rather run an 18” at the track, than a 19” in some rocky single track. Mx rear wheels were 18” up until around 1990.

I got a RMX (18") rear wheel for my RMZ, I prefer the extra cushion of the taller sidewall, yes there is more spinning mass, I'm sure it would be a major point for the pro's.
