Looks great! Awesome bikes, I’m putting one together also. I need a silencer hanger, rubber pipe connector band, clamps, front fork boots, and clamps to finish up. Any leads on these items?

I really like those bikes. To me they are the last design of dirt bikes before they turned into spaceships

Had a 87 kx 250 loved it. The 88 kx 250 not so much. Rode a 89 a couple of times and much better then the 88. Great looking bike man.

Only happens with solid mount / FMF and the SR comes with a PC. Won’t be an issue

I am 55+ and race two classes, almost every week during our snow-shortened season, here in the mid-west. I have been riding since age 13 (over 42 years) and can't imagine not riding. In fact I want to sell one of my businesses so I can ride more! Jimi J

Messico exhaust lists they offer a pipe n silencer for the 88 89 kx250. Probably made to order. But they are non coated look similar to a pro circuit.

Nice job man! Looks clean. I had an 84 and it was one of my favorites. Or was it an ‘83? It had gold rims.

Great bike and great job restoring it! The 450 with the ‘87 motif graphics is pretty tasty. Both look awesome!
