well the new "slow" 2024 KX450 just pulled the holeshot in vet 35 + at mini o's....kind of interesting that such a slow machine could pull a holeshot.

I think people need to realize there’s not a person on this thread that can actually use all of a 450 in third gear. Every track is different and everyone uses the clutch differently. I don’t use the clutch at all so I ride the gear that makes that possible, if a 450 doesn’t have enough bottom end for you you’re just in the wrong gear. The same people who want to compare 450 motors also say a 350 is all anyone needs in the next thread

I can relate, im 20 trapped in a 60yr old body, still trying to figure how to stop aging, lol. Father time and mother nature are undefeated, if anyone wants to do somthing and they can do it, do it now, cuz no guarantee we can do it later!

With all due respect, can someone please explain the obsession with this guy? How is he still relevant, and what makes people think he could still be competitive? Complete waste of talent, and it doesn't seem like he's a great guy. I just don't get it.

If you like vintage and current, this "retro" themed one might scratch both itches. Looks like a cross between the current design and the '85-'90 US model. Also resembles Danny LaPorte's 1982 World Championship winning Yamaha 250 (Danny's bike had a black frame). All it needs are the Yamaha "racetrack" graphics to complete the look.

Well gang, after 4 motos of racing on Sunday I can verify something about this bike that I know many are curious about. If you want to know if the bike is just downright AWESOME you sir ARE correct. I went to Kingsville for Round 2 of MoState MX, and I rode Saturday practice because I was a little worried my gearing choice might not play well. I agree on all points. I think Chase saw the writing on the wall with HRC signing Jett & Hunter. I believe it’s important to Chase for him to be the lead rider on a team, and to receive all the attention that comes with that. That was NOT going to be the case at Honda.

Your talking the matter of a couple weeks so people can wait a few weeks if they want reviews first. Personally I think it’s cool they are releasing it to the public first.
