It makes its power a lot quicker than the 350, riding back to back on both its def more of a lugger bike. The most effective way I’ve found to ride the 350 is as if you want to murder it absolutely wound out. The 300 I like to ride a gear high knowing a quick blip of the throttle moves you fast.

I have a similar yet different story. I first started riding at 28 and just feel in love with it, and it really pulled me out of 5-6 years of drugs and liquor abuse. At first it was just to not be hangover for the practice day on saturday, then it was to be able to ride after work during the week, then it was so I could train during the week so I could be able to finish a 15 minutes moto without having to stop 3 times. Qualified for Loretta’s and my boss at that time wouldn’t let me take off work to go so I gave up my ticket. I wasn’t trying to turn pro or anything, I just wanted to attend. Looking back, I should have just quit and figured it out when I returned. Two months later, my boss sold the company to a competitor and they let everyone go 🤦🏻♀️

Not attending Red Bud Vet Fest. Seems every year something "comes up". I'm 54 now and looking back there have been multiple times i could have, and should have, gone, but didn't. Still on the bucket list but I regret not having gone yet.

Kudos for jumping into literally the most stacked 450 field ever (I know we say this every year). On a 450. After 2 weeks of practice. Sounds pretty insane to me. I like it. Hope he does well and more importantly stays healthy

Clamp companies wouldn’t be in business if only pros looking for the 10th of a second bought them. buy what makes you happy and more comfortable. Nothing wrong with putting money into the industry

11/25/2023 2:15pm Ok so what’s the reason for changing the rear hub? The new one on the 24’ looks massive compared to the last generation. I’ve tortured the 19’, 20, and 22’… not a single failure. Any explanation on why they beefed it up? - weight difference on the hub?

Good spot to be in, but man that's tough! I love the 2019 -2023 design, with the SR being my favorite production bike built to date. With 21.5/22mm offset clamps and a PC linkage with accompanying spring rate increase, it would be even closer to the handling of the 2024+ chassis. However, no one wants to toss those clean 23mm Xtrigs on the shelf, have to spend extra on the complete linkage assembly, or be on an older design come selling time. I'd personally wait until the aftermarket has a "fix" for the 2024 air filter/airbox design or wait for...
