I don't have one, but I see quite a few of them in the TORCS offroad series I race. Some observations after looking into them a bit: - Counter balanced engine (250 & 300) - Carburetor - KYB suspension - Detailed owner AND service manuals free online - Look great Could probably set them up for MX since they do seem to be more off-road oriented out of the box. I would like to hit a ride day eventually and try out a 200 2-stroke.

Here's my '23, had it about a year. Coming off GG 450 but I am just a practice rider, only race vintage these days. I've had no issues with it. Super Dave, you're more than welcome to ride mine.....I'd love to see a good rider ripping on it and you my friend were flying at Freestone on the KX. Ronnie @ Big Country has plenty of parts. Also Beta has a cool program were you can order parts direct from Beta USA and local dealer gets credit for it....got mine in few days win-win for all.

I rode my friend's '23 300RX. It handled better than my YZ250. I noticed the Beta had a flatter seat and lower tank, felt similar to most current bikes. The 300RX power was similar to the YZ but much smoother; felt like linear 4 stroke power (but no engine braking) as where the YZ has more hit and likes to be ridden in the mid range (even with a flywheel weight and +1 on the rear). I bought one new in 02 and raced it for 2 years. Great bike, it did try to kill me on a few occasions tho. I did the Sobe kit on it for 2003. That bike was a holeshot machine.

I really wish one of the suspension companies came out to the tracks in my area to help with setup. I’m really tall (and not very talented), so I have yet to find a suspension company that could nail a setting for me on the first try. Back in the day when I lived in SoCal, I had Factory Connection set up my bike. After the first time they did it, I told them it was way too soft. They told me to come out and meet them at GH. They watched me ride for a bit, then revalved it...

I mean…you can nearly buy 2 Kawi 450s for the price of one 350.

KX is such a great bike, great deals now and not hard to mod. It also feels light on the track! Love my KX!

I did. Don't regret it for a minute. I like my 24 KX 450 much better than the 23 350 sx. I'm a bigger rider 6'1" 235 pounds. KX has the torque I need yet doesn't scare me like the new YZ 450F. KX super smooth power, stable bike, that turns well. At least for me anyways.

That second qualifying time was a flicker to build on. At this point I think everyone understands he wasn’t factory worthy ready yet and needs to let him build back from Privateer status. It’s going to be a journey that takes years if it’s even possible.
