RMZ450 msrp went up 11% in the last 10 years KX450 went up 15% CRF450 went up 16% YZF went up 17% SXF went up 25% The price on the Japanese brands has increased at a lower rate than general inflation. I have no idea why I took the time to look that up. lol

Actually it isn't that the manufacturers are raising prices as much as the dollar is crashing. You think it's bad now, just wait until they print another 10 trillion dollars and the value falls another 25%.

I had a guy tell me he got a brand new yz250 for 5000 OTD this spring. So I asked for a picture of the bike and invoice... think I got either? Nope. Because he didn’t buy any bike. He was just trying to get my price on my 19 lower. I’m convinced half the guys around here don’t actually buy new bikes, or haven’t in years, but spew numbers they’ve seen people say they got their bikes for. Get the Gas Gas. It's cheaper and in my opinion none of the extras you get with the KTM or Husky are worth it. The only thing i was skeptical about was the direct mounted bar mounts and the possible vibrations it would cause but according to the first impressions, that isn't an issue. The cast clamps seemed to reduce the vibrations compared to the CNC aluminium clamps with rubber bar mounts on the KTM and Husky. And the Gas Gas is the best looking bike of them all in my opinion.

When you say your 250 is "too small" is that that an ergonomic thing or a HP thing? Because your bike is actually larger in physical dimension than, say, the current Yamaha 450.
