Guess they weren't too pumped working with Mcelrath otherwise you would think he was the first name on their list given the situation he was already in the team. Great for Mookie, SX 21 season can't come soon enough!

IMO by trying to have one bike that does everything you end up with a bike that's a compromise at best in all situations. I tried it for a while with a CRF450X but ultimately was frustrated with how much of a tank it was for MX riding but still enjoyed it for desert and trail riding. I ended up...

No, the stock GasGas clamps are solid mounted and don't have the right geometry for the rubber cones. You would need to buy a new top triple clamp to get rubber mounts.

Would the Luxon bar mounts work on the 2021 GasGas clamp and, if so, would the rubber cones be usable also to help with the shock/vibration issues?

For an update...Motorsport finally got one and shipped it...when my brother pulled the old one out the tank to put the new one in, turns out one of the wires was disconnected. Reconnect the wire, and it worked perfectly. I laughed at him.

You're selling your 70-100h old (stock?)bikes for 2-2,5k less than a brand new bike? That is pretty crazy, can i send my bikes to you every fall? I'll give you a 5% commission for selling themGrinning

That bike looks very good inside and out for 90 hours. After 100 hours of XC racing mine looked like hot garbage.

Try SG12’s. Better fit and put 100+ hours on them without a problem. 10 hours is quick though, some friends of me ride with tech10 but none of them are worn out that quick

Harbor Freight. $30 and they are stackable. They hold the bike just as good as other brands.

Semi related- I made this set up for my Escape a couple years ago and it works FANTASTIC. (Team Green has seen it in action and can verify. Smile ) I welded some receivers to the sides of the factory class II hitch. Then those hoops just slide in when needed. The middle receiver is used as the mounting point and those load links hold the bike SOLID. When not in use, the pieces just sit out of the way in the back of the car. Nothing to stash on the side of the house or anything. Works unreal. I'm...
