This. I was able to make a good living for three decades as a "classically trained" journalist. About half of that within the powersports microsphere. Now, I'm just an anachronism, feebly shaking my fist against the clouds. I’m not sure why people think the three riders we sent would go out and smoke qualifying today. ET bad start to 7th. Pushed right to herlings fender and seemed content with that. Webb great start and faded to right where I’d expect him to finish. Hasn’t raced a 250 in 7 years lol. AP so-so start and was 7th until he got gifted a 6th with a mechanical from Coldenhoff. So they all go out and ride like their hair is on fire to potentially crash out and really screw tomorrow? Yep totally makes sense. They’ll be fine tomorrow...

DV was great on the Whiskey Throttle show. He had an interesting career. Much of it I never heard before. Worth a listen.

DV is by far my favorite co-host. I don’t think some get his humor but man the dude is funny. Also, I feel like I learn a lot when he is on. I might not agree with everything he says, but his thoughts are so unique I could listen to them every week.

I think Decoster has earned the right to bow out when he wants to bow out. He is the reason and person behind getting Team USA to compete in mxdn when no American or team wanted anything to do with the race . I’m sure with his age now he only has a few more years left before he retires, I don’t think he should be forced or pushed out he doesn’t deserve that

$35 for a groomed and watered actual track is a steal. Show up and ride for 6hrs. You will spend 6hrs working on your own track and $200 every time you ride. Why?

I have no words. This picture is from a test in 97 at Edwards AFB. We used that track a lot back then for out door testing. Scott was always happy, always brought coffee to the shop he was just a good person to be around. The last thing he txt me before his crash was “talk soon”. I wish we had that “soon” to talk.
