Going to J-bone for the pit commentary was a small change but really good. He's got a calm, informative voice and has that name recognition in the sport which just felt better to listen to. Said his piece and was done. So much better not having some wacky FM DJ type giving us insider race updates.

It wasn’t Hunter’s fault people need to stop on the heroic Macadoo terminator moment and realize how many times has Macadoo axed himself through qualifiers and every race and caused or was involved in crashes that should of hampered his points run but no he gets free do overs . He would of easily been a lap or more down on Tuesday and last nights race possibly putting him out of top 3 overall but he got do overs, then is involved (because he clearly isn’t riding at his normal self to actually control the bike ) with costing others...

He does make a valid point. Its not just his safety... imagine that he wipes out Cooper in the restart on tuesday cos he isnt all there.. As i said before, if you need medical assistance to get off the floor, you should be done for the race... if its a heat race, you get to go in the LCQ ONLY after a proper assessment. And if there is any 'doubt', the decision should always be to sit the guy out.

Where’s the line drawn from “riding with heart” and “being a liability to yourself and others” IMO, Riding with heart means to never giving up. But Riding over your head without a thought of your surroundings or situation is just plain stupid.

Totally agree.. but also agree that he needs to back it down from a "12" down to a "9" for a few races... he's made more highlight reels in the last 5 days than most pros make their entire careers

This is me now. I moved full time to a 125 mid year last year and sold the 250f. I haven’t looked forward to racing like this since I was a kid.

I used to race the Vet class on a 125. I'd get eaten up on the start and then spend the rest of the race harassing my way toward the front. Sometimes I'd win, sometimes not, but I guarantee you I was having the most fun of anybody on the track!
