Yamaha having a great day so far. Great ride by Tomac, but yeah, Jago is the surprise of the weekend so far. Eli probably felt like he had Chase behind him again for all 30 min.
I think that was big factor for Tomac being able to hold onto the lead. He's been pressured non-stop all summer so this was just another day at the office

Awesome ride for USA but Geerts is the real deal, kept Tomac honest when Tomac was slaughtering that track.

Crowd looks lighter than I anticipated, especially in comparison to 2018

Yep no passes for the top 9 riders. It's ALL about the start.

The track is going to be an ass-kicker for the next two motos. Gotta think Chase and Eli's conditioning could be a big factor.

Yes, next race start at 4.30 am Australia, the dog is looking at me strange, thinking " shouldn't you be leaving for work" by now.

Hooray for mud races! This is why I was arguing earlier than trying to make the track the most raceable is better than “leaving it untouched all weekend”. Not easy for lappers to even get out of the way if they’re in danger of sinking the bike and getting stuck for getting out of the main line.

6/20 at Loretta Lynn's II in 2020. Was LL I a mudder or just a mudder in practice? He was fast qualifier at LL I.

Exactly why I'm not a fan of mud races even if Eli won. Having said that Eli and Geerts absolutely crushed everyone in that moto. They were up by almost a minute on 3rd place

2016 was insanely close already, france winning with only 1 point below netherlands, usa 4 behind (obviously Anderson got landed on and he couldn't get another result in), probably would have been an usa win that day.

To many, the suprise was Evans, he gated well and held his place, 5th was a fantastic result considering the lack of seat time after injuries...

I'm just glad Aussies went through without problems and started strong

Last race with Tomac, sexton, geerts and Jett could be for the ages! And those three teams can go to the last race with chance to win. Can't wait

Evans’ ride puts Australia in prime spot for Overall podium finish and in battle for the top step.

I was thinking USA, AUS, BEL and FRA being super tight but yeah that would be hard to beat.

Meanwhile Kawasaki..
Yep unreal the difference between the two teams. Shows you full factory vs. factory supported. IMO all manufacturers should back the top talent. Quit being businessmen for one weekend and understand this is an amazing event and worth it. The fact that Yamaha has so many riders isn’t going unseen. People notice this and it does influence bike sales. Especially when you see the first race and the top four are on Yamaha 450’s. That is what you call a clinic

And Dylan! Looks like the 250s aren't that much of a factor here so race 3 should be the best one

He held his own against Prado, something he couldn't easily do in the GP's.

Looked like him and Hunter could have moved up position each but took no risks.

Good management.
