Serious question, has Tomac ever DNF'd a Supercross race that wasn't caused by a mechanical? Because I see no historical basis for your statement.

This year is very similar to last. Barcia comes out swinging, going to be in the mix, has a few bad races, then reverts back to aggression, now fades away or crashes out the title fight and podium finishes.

Eli isn't messing around this year. Brayton obviously isn't messing around. Overall the riders are getting sick of the take-out passes. Eli knew Barcia would play rough and handled him with a confident pass.

Alright VitalMX, it's 2020 and the search feature on your site sucks big ones.... How many of you have tried to search for an old thread and just gave up because your search leads to nowhere? If Eli never wins the SX championship so be it. Knock out another outdoor C-ship and call it a career. Raise your kids , hang with family and dig where you're at. Do some hunting, whatever.

18th to 12th on lap 1. 12th to 4th over the entire race. He did good. The field isnt easy anymore.

If you look at the Movers and Shakers you'll see that most riders improved only one position or lost positions. Almost no one gained more than one position unless they were at the back of the pack. I'd say Tomac crushed it.

18th to 4th in that crowd? With some of the "road-blocks" that were up? With the speed and capability at the level it is, this year? Personally. I'm gonna continue to call him "Stealth Mode". Think of it has kinda like a Really Sneaky Beast Mode. While we're here, I'll also accuse Eli of learning "patience".

If you bother to read it Chads wife had major surgery Monday after being sick for a long time. Yes Family does affect a riders performance.

So if Reed politely handed over the spot he officially earned to to someone that wasn’t quite good enough to take it from legitimately, What “chance” would he be giving them at a future if they weren’t good enough to beat him out of the spot in the first place.
