This. Not because Tomac is doing something it means he can do it, he is not at his level.

That was the type of crash that would have Tomac rethinking about retirement. Could have been really bad if not for the soft landing. Looked like he hit his head hard enough to get a concussion.

What actually happened is he was cutting down to do that line every lap and end up on the inside in the following corner, but Webb picked up on it and stayed tight in the prior corner that lap. Eli tried to do the line around the outside which he hadn’t done yet and landed further outside than he was expecting. Pretty simple mistake, albeit with big consequences.

I think he just made a mistake and crashed. It happens to everyone who rides a dirt bike from time to time. Thankfully he’s ok.

I’m a huge Tomac fan, but he’s nowhere near “goat” status. You do realize that RC has 3 more big bike SX championships and 3 more big bike MX championships than Eli? Not to mention Ricky’s 3 250 MX championships in a row. The guy literally won outdoors every single year of his career. Nobody is touching that. Not Eli. Not Jett. Sure, Eli now has more individual wins than RC in SX, but it’s taken him 3 years longer to do it. It’s really not even close.

Eli just passed McGrath for total overall combined wins between MX, MX lites, SX, and SX lites with McGrath at 89 wins and Eli now at 90 wins, 3rd all time behind James (98) and Ricky (150). Its possible for Eli to pass James in total SX wins (likely to happen) and total overall SX/MX wins this year to be #2 all time in both (needs 9 more wins to do this which may be tough this year, but would likely get it if he races one more year/part of next year). Would be cool to see Eli get to...

Same bike, same team. Seems very likely to at least surpass Ricky.

I think he will get to Carmichael and maybe tie James. I believe he is going to win 2023 SX and retire.

In my opinion. I think he wins 7-10 races. I think Anderson and Webb will win a couple each. I also think this is the year Mookie gets one
