Eli races for championships, not just wins. Something many other racers cannot grasp. It happened with Stewart countless times and it appears it may be happening with Chase.

Since he won his heat race, let's talk about that. Kenny was drenched with sweat and out of breath after his heat race won. Tomac appeared fresh as a daisy after his. Either Kenny is fighting the bike, hasn't got his fitness dialed, or he's sick. That's my read on it...

I genuinely feel bad for this guy. He knows as well as anyone the price a rider can pay for mistakes. Even with Honda, it seems with every race he seems to obsess about the bike settings more and more, getting lost and frustrated. At the end of his heat win yesterday he looked like shit during the interview, not just worked out, but clammy, pale, breathless. He made the choice to Race this bike . He had 2 PC built Kawis he never even rode . He rode the 2023 Yamaha. He could have rode the Honda. . This team has let him do what he wants with the parts he wants . This is on Kenny

An exhibition race, in ‘Party season’ with a depleted field isn’t the best gauge of performance. when will people understand this?

I don’t know what happened. He was running 5th then all the sudden he dropped anchor. I hate it for him because I really want him to do good especially on his new bike. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Which brings up a huge issue with RC in the booth. He's always trying to broadcast ahead of the real time action. Instead of simply calling the race as it unfolds. I think that's what leads to him getting so tongue tied half the time he opens his mouth.

Yep, if mains were 30 minutes Tomac would have backed off 3 seconds a lap at the 20 minute mark of the race, Fanbois logic

I definitely agree regarding the broadcast having his screw up reel teed up. That was super ridiculous to show during a race. What’d we miss an entire lap?

The broadcast did him dirty with the highlights of his crashes as soon as he crashed tonight. They missed a bunch of stuff of the races but that "reel" was in the starting blocks ready to get on air... After 6 races, Chase is only 7 points behind with all his setbacks since the beginning of the year. 11 races to go and 286 points to be attributed. You know the opposite holds true right, he likely could have easily gone backwards and/or not been in a position to pressure Chase if they were how they should have been.
