Webb would be undefeated. I will admit I root against him every race. Hes not the fastest, not even close, but the rougher the track gets, the longer the main goes on, the stronger he gets. I don’t understand how he does it. You’d think he be the man outdoors with how rough that is but I guess that’s much higher speeds and as we all know, he’s not the fastest. But when the speeds are low, and the tracks are chewed up, he shines. Tomac and sexton smoked him early on and then it turned rough and here comes little Webb. It really is unreal.
haha I almost think it’s not fair. Supercross in my mind should be perfectly groomed tracks with high speeds, not beat to death trying to race the track rather than each other. We saw that at Houston, track stayed prime and everyone was going balls out and where was Webb? Back in 5th or 6th.
I don’t know, it really is just fascinating that a guy who’s not as quick as Tomac, Sexton, Anderson, Malcom Stewart/Ferrandis at times, gets better results. Credit where it’s due, good for the #2
Haha what the hell,
Yep, if mains were 30 minutes Tomac would have backed off 3 seconds a lap at the 20 minute mark of the race,
Fanbois logic
If only there was a series where they ran 24 30 minute races. Hmmm..
Webb just better be praying for tracks to continue to get beat up because like we saw in Houston when the track was fine, he got delt with. His only chance is for tracks to continue to be destroyed.

Good grief....read what you just said.
Somehow it makes Webb an inferior rider because he absolutely crushes brutal/torn up tracks. Sound logic right there man...
lol
Racing isn't mid-week practiced to death perfect track conditions. Ando is a perfect example...fast as hell in qualifying/heats...yet he's got nothing in the mains.
At least OP who isn't a fan recognizes what makes Webb great.
The guy you just replied to is the OP..
Oh man.... I'm not even going to edit my post.
This is me right now...
Tomac would be a four-time champ now and probably have 60 wins.
Even though Webb isn’t always the fastest he has the most consistent laps without many mistakes. Over the course of the race that is sometimes faster than a guy with good lap times but makes mistakes that cost them 5-10 secs at the end which is the most crucial part.
He feeds on hunting guys down when they start showing weakness. He did it with Roczen all 2019 and now he’s doing it with Chase.
Not the fastest but definitely the strongest mentally and that’s why he’s a 2 time champ.
No
"Not the fastest, not even close.."

He had the 3rd fastest lap time of the main event last night, 1.13 seconds off the fastest..
"Not even close"
Make it two 45 +2s and let the men rise to the top.
Do guy think the OP has seen Coop race Eli for 30 minutes…? I don’t.
If my grandmother had wheels she’d be a bicycle
If main events were 30 minutes the whole field might be out with an injury at one point or another during the season.
if ifs and buts were candies and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas
Roczen requests 15 min or less and then he’d be undefeated.
Pit Row
2021 was truly brutal. Kenny led around 50 more laps that year and Webb passed him on the last or second last lap in around 4 or 5 races. Must have been a tough pill to swallow.
Webb needs to figure out how to keep that early race gap a little smaller. It's incredible the distance he made up on Tomac towards the end of the race. Tomac says he had more in the tank and was ready to sprint that last lap, but I think if Webb figures out how to get on his rear wheel 5 min earlier in the race, it'll be a fantastic ending.
