Well, years before the pandemic after my BMT, I had had to wear a mask in public for quite a few months till my blood counts came up. So, I at the time was highly appreciative of people wearing masks in places I had to go like grocery stores. Places I didn't have to go, I just didn't go. My position was that if you were at places that were required for just living, there were going to be other immunocompromised people that need all the help they can get. When you start going to optional places, then your asking others to be inconvenienced for me not needing to go there. So out on the beach? Why in the world would you require someone to wear a mask?

For me...I got the vaccine so I could go on vacation to the Bahama's...no boosters...and I've had no side affects from it. I look back at that time period almost like its the twilight zone...everyone wearing masks...standing 6 ft apart in lines...restaurants closed or only serving curb side...nobody going to work...and everyone spending money like their life depended on it...not to mention the absolute insanity that manifested itself in the minds of so many Americans (seems like so many people went way extreme on whatever it was they believed in, and hated anyone who didn't agree with them). ...what a trippy time to live through...
I’m confused too. People are mad at Fauci for creating a virus that killed millions. But the virus was actually all a hoax. And if it wasn’t, it was no worse than a cold anyway. And anyone that died of Covid actually died of something else and only died ‘with’ Covid. Or they were old, so meh…
And in any case, it certainly was nothing to be scared of, or take any preventative measures against (other than horse wormer). But they’re still mad at Fauci for creating that fake virus.

What's interesting to me is that I have seen one, maybe two responses here (from real people) in support of Fauci, but when I get on X, it's probably 50/50. I think those pro-Fauci posts on social media are bots and paid posters.
I think Fauci is Deep State and nothing will happen to him. I got the vaccine as well for same reason, had a backpacking trip in the Andes and wasn’t going to miss that. The original shot was fine. But the booster made me sick, and my lymph nodes swelled up. Haven’t had one since. That’s said, I get really sick from Covid. This years variant kicked my ass. Destroyed my cardio for several weeks. I would way rather get the flu, it’s done after couple days.

I also got vaxxed. Because of regular daily contact with my now 93 year old father. Who also has a circle of same aged friends. My decision. If I did not have that situation in my life, I am not sure I would have. Don't recall encountering situations where not being vaxxed would have prevented me from doing something I wanted to. I also as far as I know have never had Covid. My wife (also vaxxed) has had it three times. That we know of.
With my traveling and being around potential Covid carriers walking around and spreading the world wide pandemic as soon as it was available I got the vaccination and every booster since.
And Yes I also get the Flu vaccine every year too.
When people started dying at the hospital 5 miles from me of Covid I knew it was serious.

No vax here and I'm glad I didn't give in. Illinois banned me from gyms and restaurants for half a year and I wasn't able to travel. I had to tell my employer to fire me if they had a problem with it, luckily kept my job though as the federal mandate didn't apply to companies <100 people.
Fun times. I would be 100x more bitter if I took any of those shots, though.
Also, I only got COVID once, in 2022. Loss taste and smell with minimal fatigue for a couple days. Haven't even had a cold since.
No jab here, either.
Had to take care/keep tabs on my parents & mother-in-law (at the time all were in their late 70s-mid 80s). The person who got the most boosters and was all in on the jab? Got it the most (the virus) and eventually ended up needing the therapies and meds that the jab crowd attempted to outlaw.
As for me? I gave blood during all the madness. I’m O neg and have a beneficial response as far as antibodies go…so, just down the road on a very cool USMC facility, they were willing to take my blood a lil’ too often!🤣
On the one occasion I tested truly “positive” for it…I rode it out for about 3 days and was simply “flu-like” for a coupl’a those days. And, yes, I know I was lucky.

So yeah, I trusted the medical establishment without researching it (like I've done for a million different things in my life, just like every one of us do), so I could go on a vacation that was bought and paid for before the shot was mandated. And don't get me started on the "research" all of you "experts" are doing on this shot...research in an echo chamber isn't research...Unless you were in a lab, doing the actual research yourself, at the end of the day, you are just trusting another humans interpretation of the data filtered through their own biases, opinions, and, yes, their funding sources. For all the research you've done that says the shot was bad, there is an equal amount that says it was good...you get to choose which you want to believe. So you haven't researched anything...you've just decided to trust the people who tell you what you want to hear.

He was responsible for making sure kids weren't going to school, or people couldn't go to church, or socialize. No haircuts, no restaurants, bars, movies, hell, couldn't even go to the beach.
He put businesses on the chopping block, and wiped out many that were deemed "non-essential".
All stuff that's constitutionally illegal, but he did it anyway.
That's excluding the fact that he was responsible for making sure the Wuhan lab was receiving gain of function funds in a setting of only a #2 protection protocol when it should have been a #3.
