Using Prado as data and proof is stupid. If you follow that line of reasoning, that means anyone who moves from a kawi to ktm would improve their finish by 5-10 spots. So Marchbanks would be a hands down winner. Another thing, Prado riding better this year can prove one or two things. It could prove hes better on a ktm. It can also prove the HE DID QUIT on the Kawi team last year. He just didnt even want to try. He could have been top 5 every race last year if gave the effort. Maybe not a winner...

Don’t talk about the trans community like that, they’re just confused.

Crazy how they wanted more nationals and held it to 12 but now in 2026 we only get 11. The older I get the more I enjoy watching the outdoors over sx.

Prado gave up lol.

Weimer was never meant to be the A rider. His teammate did plenty of winning on the same bike he whined about. So did that guy that retired last week. Kenny won his SX title on a bike that hasn’t been updated this decade and finished last in the shootouts last time it was. This is motocross. Bikes don’t create the champions.

Reed, Anstie, Stewart, Savagty, Craig, Cooper, you could even say Kenny and McGrath. I mean McGrath rode a pile of shit and still stuck out the year right after leaving Honda over a bike. Don’t recall any of them purposely trying to not qualify for a day/night show at a race. All left, some may not have been happy but they all remained friendly with the other teams. Can’t say that here.

too many rounds!!!

Exactly this. Very well said.

Trey Canards best finish on KTM was an 8th in supercross and a 12th outdoors. Maybe he just didn't gel with the bike coming off the Honda. He was completely professional in the way he handled the results that were considerably below expectations.

I think your last sentence explains why fans have been so divided on this topic. Some (including myself) don’t care about who was “correct”, we saw Prado’s piss poor attitude last year and criticized him as such because it was nothing but unprofessional. While others seem to think him getting back to top form and showing that the bike didn’t work for him justifies his attitude last year. Personally I don’t think it does but everyone has a right to their opinion. In the end having another guy capable of winning is nothing but a positive for everyone but I...

lol Sexton did beat Prado this year. Which of the 2 has a Supercross win? Marchbanks isn't a world champion so no he isn't on Prado's level but he is overachieving on the Kawi

I've been pretty neutral on this whole thing but it's finally worn me down. If you combine Supercross and Motocross points Hunter outscored Jorge 820 to 590. 230 points better with 5 SX Main Event wins, 12 moto wins and 6 overalls in Pro Motocross to Jorge's 2 moto wins and 1 overall, but we're all supposed to participate in Jorge's delusion that he is World Champion from this? It's honestly a disservice to Hunter and Cole after they fought, scratched, and clawed their way to real championships and proved definitively that they were the best over the course of...

It's a Mickey Mouse title. How does a rider win 2 out of 3 of the races and lose it bc of how the seeding works? Just bring back the monster cup

Here’s my issue with it’s legitimacy, Prado won the SMX WorldChampionship this year and I’m happy for him and his triumphant turnaround from last season. He won the title by 7 points over Deegan even though Deegan won two of the three races. That’s the same seven point advantage he had over before the first gate drop. How can you consider anything a legitimate championship when the racers don’t start with an even playing field?

It's already dying. Once WSX closes the doors, they'll shut this down. It'll be a footnote of mx history.
