Is the anger at JT because he asked him in the podium interview what he thought about the line because the AMA was looking at it?

JT is getting raked through the coals by the bed bugs in comment sections for “snitching” on Deegan for taking that line.

No, jackass, we’re saying it wasn’t JT’s place to handle it. Are you dumb? Rhetorical question.

So you expect the TV crew to never mention when a guy is on camera cutting the course multiple laps in a row?

Brother, if you're digging for your old threads to prove something to someone you don't know and who doesn't care, it's time to take a week or so off and get out to the woods for some fresh air.

I read this whole thread and the only conclusion I can come to is, the only people dumber than DiaperBoy are his fans. Some of these comments are just unbelievable.

there needs to be more definitive track edge marking like paint

or go back to streamers and hay bay...aint no one cutting the course with those around

Common sense would tell anyone that line isn’t part of the track. Plus there were markers that got ran over. Haiden and anyone else knew what they were doing

my point is, back in like 07 when they started using them riders were 'cheating' the markers then. to riders theyre more suggestions than actual track boundries. unlike in Sx where they have the physical foam blocks

Can anyone else confirm if their morning coffee tastes way better than usual when reading comments by unmedicated deegan fans crashing out?

Or did I just make a really good coffee for once?

Accelerating off‑track isn’t a penalty we go through this every year multiple times.

Please see the second penalty below:

Oh no you got me, oh wait no you didn’t “get me.” You just exposed that you can’t read. I literally handed you the rest of the rule language later in the thread spelling out exactly how a rider can accelerate off‑track without being penalized. If you had even a basic ability to process information, you’d understand why he got dinged. I actually thought you were halfway there when with the “attempt to gain an advantage” line, but I guess that was the ceiling for you, my mistake.

Obviously, when we are talking about acceleration off track we are inferring the "attempting to gain an advantage" clause as presupposed.
Nobody is arguing that somebody who comes to a stop off track should be stuck there permanently because it would require acceleration just to re-enter.

“Why? Because you don’t understand it? The rule has multiple elements the rule is not ‘accelerate off‑track = penalty.’ That’s not how it works and pretending it is doesn’t make it true. If you can’t recognize that other parts of the rule are applied for penalty, that’s on you.

LoL...OK.

Woulda been a much better look to have properly backpedalled than to have double downed on your derrangement here.  But hey, feel free to say the same thing over and over and over if that's what makes you feel better.

You’re almost there just like the other poster. You can accelerate off the track without gaining an advantage and still get penalized, just like you can accelerate off the track and not get penalized. The rule isn’t binary; multiple elements are evaluated, and attempting to gain an advantage is only one of them.

Lol nothing to add, so you go to insult. It’s fine if you can’t read the rule and apply it correctly, that was already clear. But that’s not my problem.

This is a very complicated case. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in your head.

It’s plain and simple.

Forget about the middle of the corner. Were the markers there, were they missing, doesn’t matter. Take that completely out of the situation.

There were markers standing at the exit of the corner. He went inside those markers.

Even if he had stayed in the main line, then turned out early going inside those markers he’s still cutting the track.

If he had used that inside line and then got back on track before the exit markers then this would be debatable. And the AMA probably would have docked him 1-2 spots because they know it’s debatable. But he didn’t, they gave him the large penalty because they had the evidence on live tv!

Its not complicated. Cutting the track isn't legal. Deegandashian got penalized. Thats not rocket science. He did it blatently for 6-7 laps desperate to get a social media video of him passing Jett even if it only lasted for a turn or two it was worth it to them to pretend they are "Rivals"..

Sadly for the Deegandashian clan Jett didn't need to cheat and still smoked him.

Sounded like he did it a dozen times but they only had film of him doing it 6 times.
Cant say he isnt doing everything possible to win.

Why didn’t JT ask Hunter about taking the same line?

Because Hunter made one mistake then did not repeat the mistake. Prado did it twice, adn stopped.

Deegan did it 7 times, and he was the rider who initially knocked down the inside track markers so he could later claim they weren't visible.

The things a small minority of posters here say to defend a clear and obvious wrong are absolutely deranged!
