It’s hard not to like Chase. Good on him for owning it and apologizing. Hard to get away with anything these days .
Good on him for being available and answering, hoping he gets his confidence back on the bike and it works for him. It's better racing when he's on it.
Not disputing, but having a hard time visualizing what happened (not that it matters, just the way my brain works). Slow rolling into the pits feet off the pegs and caught the chain lying on the ground?
I dunno if we see him again this outdoors.

Next week seems too soon with that hit, but I'd not be surprised to see him at Red Bud if he hasn't seriously dinged something. I'd also not be surprised if like you say he's done for the season, but it sure seems like he needs to make this work to prove to folks that he's gotten past the challenges he's experienced or made for himself over the last few years.

that was a very damning interview reading between the lines. "Pent up anger", "6 months of frustration" etc etc. he's mentally checked out. the sirens at Kawi should be blaring.
I was the first to rag on Prado last year but hand up he was right. Factory Kawi is a disaster.
Chase isn't a good barometer of a teams quality. Anyone with some sense would pull off if there's a bike issue. They're at elevation, in practice. He should know something's up.
wasn't even referring to yesterdays event really.. this is two years of a team seemingly spinning it's wheels/going backwards, with two different elite riders. Eli left because he needed a better bike. RJ, Mookie, JCoop are all choosing something other then the Kawi next year

The ghost rider
was a big Sexton fan until recently.
He reminds me of when you play excite bike and mess up on the first jump, you just start the game over. Sexton doesnt do well the first race or two and throws in the towel.
I felt this way before yesterdays crash.
He was a lucky one.

If the bike and team are so terrible , explain the SX wins and Marchbanks good finishes and the 4th in the second moto last week by Sexton. This can’t be explained away.

Chase said to Vital it didn’t come close to hitting Marchbanks.
To me its simple, Kawasaki need to bring riders up from the 250 class who know how the Kawasaki works. Their sucess has always come from riders who have experience on the 250f. Bringing riders in from other brands and trying to get them used to the Kawasaki doesnt seem to work at all.
As in all sports, there is a time to clean house, and Kawi is at that time. Management and riders. Start new.
it's the same frame as the 450....makes sense to me
