I don't remember Deegan mentioning he was coming for the kings record.
The king is McGrath, you can fuck off calling anyone else the king.
Deegan will have the same issue that Sexton has had for all these years. In the end of the day, Jett Lawrence is just better and more talented than everyone else. He is truly in the "all-time/GOAT" bracket from a talent POV.
It's very, very difficult to straight up beat a guy like that. Deegan is obviously great, but i don't think he will ever beat Jett straight up in a fight for the title where both manages to race all the races without any major injuries.
I think this is the best way to beat Deegan at his trash talking head game stuff.
If you engage with it while he's winning and trash talking you open yourself up to more of it.
If you trash talk him when he loses and pretends to be humble then you just look like a bit of a dick and he'll use it against you if he wins.
By completely ignoring him you are not giving him anything to work with, and he looks stupid to a neutral party if he starts up completely one sided trash talk.
This is spot on here-
Deegan has two choices- Keep working hard and improving (which every year he proves he can do) or basically give up and accept 2nd or worse (like everyone else has when Jett is racing).
Jett breaks others careers, but he is also prone to serious injuries..
I want Deegan or almost anyone else to straight up beat Jett- I think it’s better racing when one guy isn’t winning every moto..

Let's be real though, do you think he beats a 2023/2024 Chase? I don't. Jett and Chase gapped the rest of the field by a minute in 2023.
I can’t stand him, but you have to respect what he’s achieved and the hard work that got him there.
He sucked in the sand, so he has the team go to Southwick to train. He sucked at woops, so he goes through them a few thousand times to learn them. His start weren’t great so he does start after start.
He’s relentless in his preparation, and I think he will work just as hard on his 450 technique. Will he beat Jett? I don’t own a crystal ball, so I can’t say, but he’s going to make himself better.
You’re already there?
Now this looks like 3 brothers. Oldest to youngest left to right lol.
“Deegan said he was going to win immediately”
When did he actually say this ?
There was a Race yesterday too. He wasn't catching a cold.
Yeah and you obviously didn't even watch the race
I was there. Prado was clearly catching Deegs in the final 5 laps. Then motor went.
He's improved last week to yesterday, I still think he'll win some moto's and possibly an overall or two.
True. But Deegs faded (arm pump prob). The 450 in 30+ full race mode is different from 450 in 30+ minute moto practice mode. He will get it figured out. He has proven that he can work through issues.
So did Jett.
Should be an automatic ban from this board with such a stupid take.
I’ll give you one example- villo in 09 got lapped once or twice in Supercross when he moved up- he was the furthest thing from a factor. Then at the end of the season, he beat everyone and then went on his run.
Deegan just got third. THIRD. In his second 450 race. How you just write off the next ten years or potential battles is incredible
You and many others don’t seem to get it. The Deegan camp and their legion of followers knighted Haiden as the king of motocross and supercross before he even did one legit race in the adult class. “Nobody can beat me” and “RIP Jett” are just a few examples. Now that he isn’t winning (and frankly he’s getting annihilated) the story is changing to “it’s a learning year” or “it’s a process”. No. Sorry. You sold the flavor aid and the legion drank it and now the goalposts are moving. But, in fairness, this isn’t just MX / SX. It’s the overwhelming majority of the USA right now.
Imagine if GOAT coronated himself as king of SX in 99 or 00. How stupid would that have looked?
“It’s all for clicks, we never intended for people to believe any of this feces.”
Ok, sure. Goalpost movers.
I doubt that happens Lakewood is Deegan’s worse track of the series, he’s always tried to override the bike there…5th is where I think he’ll be next week behind Hunter, Lucas, Jett and George….
Pit Row
Everyone likes the Lawrences, but their fans…
…dear Lord 😳
Gosh, I sure hope Haiden doesn't win MX3 at the MXdN this year. His anti-fans would push his stardom to never before seen levels.
He kept Hunter behind him for the better part of the moto and Jett within a few seconds until he admittedly tightened up and got arm pump . Im not sure I’ve seen anyone besides Tomac or Chase do the same . Deegs being a rookie and accomplishing that while Tomac and Chase are seasoned vets says alot to me .
The brothers won’t be there so he could possibly. Genuine question though. You think he will go?
Right, because after two 450 races, Deegan has 'peaked' LOL. You Jett fans are delusional.
If the Deegans’ social media posts and antics got you hyped up or pissed off either way, that’s on you for taking personal stock one way or another in someone you never met. It’s all for clicks, views, and cash at the end of the day. I swear, the haters give the Deegans just as much engagement as their fans do. Try and just enjoy the actual racing on the track for what it is!
Edited his original “RIP JETT” shirt to “JETT RIPS” because he found out real quick lol.
But all kidding aside, Deegan is doing phenomenal so far, albeit not as high level as he said he would be, not even close because Lawrence’s are dropping him by a longggg way each race. But I still believe he will get to a point of competing with Hunter, I don’t know about Jett though, very few have. But Jett has had a lot of injuries so he may jump on those opportunities, similar to Reed with RC & Stew.
I remember very very similar conversations after deegans first 250sx races.
I’m probably the biggest 38 hater out there. His rise is not over. He has the speed, fitness, and tenacity to run with those guys. The fact he’s going 3-3 to two of the best dudes on the planet aughta be enough to tell you that
What do you mean lol he went 2-2 week 1, and he was gaining 2 seconds a lap on deegan at the end of moto 1 until his bike blew up ... Idk if he would have made the pass but he was catching him quick.
4 outdoor 250 national races till his first moto win so I would say that the 450 rise is right on track.

Anyone else noticed Deegan just shaking his head after moto 2 btw? Despite what he or some people say, he is NOT happy with that result and definitely expected to win. It's pretty cool that they will race eachother their whole 450 career basically because I don't think Deegan is someone who just thinks it's the bikes fault like Sexton, I think he will grind, make progress and do anything to get better over the next years. Whatever the little cringelord says, the dude has grit, can't deny that. Add Lucas to the list next year and we will have some incredible battles for the podium every week.
