What would a big bore version look like? 360?
I think that demand, will be met in a trice, Greenie!
The “X” is what we get…I’m gonna “KDX” it myself. Add lights…change the nomenclature on the graphics…
Voila.
Gonna be a good time to let the good times roll.
The KX250 was built and sold in 2008 in Europe..then production stopped. I was luck to get a brand new set of cases and crank assembly for my '07 back in 2019 or so. Probably one of the last sets to be sold.

Wow just wow.
KDX 327. Sign me up.
YaaaaHooooo! Thank you Kawasaki!
Did I miss the engine specs in the article? I’m curious if it’s an under square or over square engine? Or square?
Ouch. Just when I was thinking I'm going to add this green bike to my stable I come across this. I haven't read the release article yet but I guess I don't need to anymore, because this badass new looking Kawi 327 turns out to be a green pig, 10lbs+ overweight.
It weights the same as a KTM TBI 250/300. KTM claims they weight 219 but most of the media has weighted them and published 233lbs.
at least AJ @ Built will have a new chassis/platfor to make new bikes like the Built 500
Two years ago: Yo Japan please build an off road two stroke and take my money!
Today: Honey don't look at the pnc account it's $9k short!
The 450X comes pre wired for headlight according to the release. Hopefully the 327 does as well.
So what you're saying is..... You're going to give it.... The D?
Is this true? If yes maybe I'll be interested again. But for me to buy this bike for a specific purpose I'd be looking for the lightest 300/327/350 possible and I thought the KTM/Husky 300's were all around 320lbs.
Slightly oversquare.. 66mm bore x 76mm stroke
The previous and last KX250 generation (05-08) was undersquare 66mm bore x 72mm stroke
Efi weighs more. If you want the lightest look to beta and tm carbed models.
probably... an Euro "road legal" version?
Lol youre right. Good on them for realizing that was dumb and to bring it back. Idk why they thought that was a good idea in the first place.
Just looked and the Husky TC 300 is listed as 219.5 lbs?

It’s gonna be a little heavier - fi, estart, counterbalancer, etc. I’m glad they didn’t go too crazy with electronics. I don’t think that many are worried about a little extra lbs for the modern conveniences. It’s certainly lighter than a CRF300F.
Dang you’re right those Austrian sickos are great at shaving weight and making power.
If you slap air forks on you gain 2-3 lbs which everyone seems to do so keep that in mind with the Austrian bunch.
So yeah team Austria or team Italia if weight is the only thing you prioritize.
Don’t think you can go wrong with any of them! Crazy there’s so many options!!
I just checked and the 2026 KX450F weighed 238 pounds, so if the 325 2T is 234 pounds, that is a bit of a head scratcher. I feel it should be at least 10 pounds lighter than the bigger engined 450 4T. I also wonder about the round lower frame rails on the traditional aluminum frame main spars.. the lower rails look delicate and out of place. The deep U cow catcher front fender may take a little getting used to. We may have to endure more radio silence until they are ready to launch at the end of the year and see some tests.
For the Honda, you hearing Cleveland, Windsor or Boss?
The Beta has the electric start and counter balancer, too, but has a carb. If the electronics are that much heavier, give me a carb!
Interesting. Won't take both pics in the same post -
Heck, it's not taking the YZ465 pic at all. 🤔
There it goes!
AI slop ahead.. and probably the last time I do this but I would love to have this exact bike
That would be XR650L territory. 😄
Next question - when does Yamaha return serve? 🤔
Anyone remember back to the 2000 GNCC where Wattsy rode every displacement made by KTM at the time?
