The clutch is set up with a Belville washer. You can adjust the preload on it. Pull the clutch cover off. You'll see six 8mm bolts. It's probably the fan. The 350's stator doesn't put out much juice and the KTM fan has the biggest draw of all the fans. I put a stator on my xcf with the ktm brand fan and it's worked flawlessly. If you want to test this. Put in your new battery and unplug the fan. See how long it lasts.

After re-reading your post. It sounds like valving is more your issue than spring/air. If you go to 170psi to match your weight then that would be the same if you ordered the appropriate spring rate for your weight. Then you'd still probably have the same rough feeling in whoops your talking about.

I have single spring in my 350 and 6500 in my 300 xc. I race enduros and play on mx. The single spring works great. If they are valved the same a normal guy wouldn't know the difference. Both have adjustable preload. Just adding it will help with the feel between air and spring but performance wise you'll still need...

Ok yes, I was going to say that you can grind down the plastic and get an allen head bolt to increase the clearance between the tank but it sounds like you had other problems with the tusk as well.
