I only watched the last 30 minutes. Heck of a day for Dante! Johnny kept him on his toes till the end and Baylor was putting in a heck of a charge.

Holy moly!

That’s wild. For how few of those races he’s done, pretty shocking to see him win one despite how wildly fast he is. People just don’t go race GNCC and win in the XC1 class.

Awesome that KTM gave him the chance to go back east, and show his talent to people across the country.

Badass race. 3-hour long battle.

Stu was on a mission, too.

That’s sick I’m pumped to see this. He is also a super cool nice guy when you see him around!

He and his brother are both good dudes.  I watched them grow up racing D36 out here.  I think having his regular mechanic back east has helped him being comfortable as well.  Really happy he pulled this one off. I believe he is definitely on track to be another off-road legend.

Even the great Kurt Caselli could not win a GNCC when he tried. Amazing achievement for a West Coast guy. Congratulations Dante!

WEST COOOOAST!!!! Our west coast off road guys don’t get a lot of love since our races aren’t owned/promoted by big industry power brokers, but bottom line is our guys rip!! ISDE last year, Ricky at Dakar, etc.. Way to crush it Dante!

That was certainly a track in his wheel house very fast and open sandy stuff.

He actually raced a few rounds back in 2020 but didn't do a whole lot but he's been ripping this year, certainly redeemed himself after looking like a total asshole at round one clutch dumping his bike into the side of Bollinger and still getting beat by him.

Speaking of Bollinger....does he have nude pictures of somebody high up or how does he stay on the Factory Ride train?

At our ISDE Qualifier a coupl’a weeks ago…

The Oliveira brothers were on fire (finished 1st & 2nd). From what I’ve seen, we’re gonna hear their names A LOT in the near future.

Stoked to see this level pf success for them at the GNCC!

I think he’s just a fill in since Ben is hurt. But not sure for how long, I’m sure longer now than they originally planned.

You been living under a rock ol' boy?

We been hearing about Dante for years....dudes a 4x NGPC Champ, 2x WORCS Champ, Western Hare Scrambles Champ, ISDE Top American on the Winning Team....

Maybe pay a little closer attention... TongueWink

Yep he’s definitely filling in. Was hoping he would do Florida a week or two ago, as I think he could have won that too.

It’s amazing to see him win one. Garrahan had a long history of racing GNCC’s too, so the tradition continues with the Dante.

We might be in a golden era of off road between Taylor, Dante and Brabec.

That's so cool but not completely unexpected, he's very fast and the course was very dry.

West coast, East Coast, ISDE...

ISDE last year was Taylor's last Professional race.

First met Donte in 2016 doing WORCS, he was racing the A class and pro-am, had a buddy battling with him. It's so awesome seeing him where he is.

Trevor unfortunately hasn’t been healthy since getting the husky ride. I’d like to see him get back on a Honda.

Yeah unfortunately Trevor has had a lot of injuries since his XC2 championship.  He’s like the off-road version of Dean Wilson.  Super nice/ polite, fun to be around, good to his fans, and just an all around good guy that can’t stay healthy. He’s still a bad MF’er on a dirt bike though, just like the majority of XC1 and XC2 GNCC racers.  Another fun fact most don’t know is he helped develop the previous generation of Honda Rally bike that Brabec won his first Dakar on, back when Trevor rode for JCR.

That was an awesome race, you could say that he is one of if not the best all around offroad racer in US right now.

Hammerin Hank Moree’s  Camp Coker is 100% sand so it is a brutal race!

He was docked a position due to going further than 25’ from the designated course. It was reported on RacerX.

Just from reading that it seems like Stu is getting frustrated that Johnny is blowing his doors off every round.

Saying the other XC1 guys are “trail riding” ain’t gonna make it any easier on himself.

I agree with you, however some of those guys are not up to speed this year and need to just wave him and others by.  The XC 1 guys should not be getting smoked by the XC2 guys, they are suppose to be elite.
