Damn you guys really are awesome. I met Karen at the races a few weeks ago and saw how much she and her son were into it , yet were lacking proper gear. Because my granddaughters are still recycling our gear , I wasn’t able to help her out so I told her about Vital and how we take care of each other over here.

Honestly, I like the playfulness revs of the 250. I am at sea level and not a lot of hard enduro or climbs. Mostly hard pack and moto. 300 would be too much for me.

1/16/2026 1:30pm Accomplished my goal of getting into the top 10 overall for all A riders in district 36 cross country last year and as a participation award get to run the red plates for a year. Bike only looks the shiny one time! Back to Racing this Sunday, but definitely not doing the full season this year.

6/5/2025 9:28am Awesome, I hope it works well for you. Quick recommendation, I would try the Hitlis first, then the flywheel second. That way you can make an informed decision on whether need them both or only need one. Agree with Digger that’s the X’s need more power below the pipe and down low.

5/14/2025 4:35pm I think the Hitlis has a much bigger effect than you expect, and that’s one of the reasons people get so excited about it. A fly wheel is a little noticeable, and obviously you can change the port height and mess with the cylinder and get big changes, but many of those things don’t really smoothen the bike out or...

Thanks, that’s all great info. I was kind of in between in the XC and MX head. I’ll more than likely get both as well, but it sounds like the MX head may be better suited for me. I figured I’d reach out on here and see if any guys have experience with the Hitlis since thunpertalk seems to be the same 3-4 guys raving about it everywhere I’ve looked.
