Sad to hear Jett got injured. He is great to watch ride. I came up a foot short literally on the Elevator at Gatorback back when it was its biggest. Talus broke in 4 pieces, shattered calcaneus and sheared ball behind big toe off by peg. Good times.

Nice find on being able to see the boot mod but I'm thinking this injury comes from the shear vertical impact of the foot slamming hard on the ground and crushing the bone. I was under the impression the Tech10 ribs were to prevent the ankle from hyper flexing?

I have the exact same injury. My talus is screwed together. High-speed over jump. He’s definitely out for SX. Unless he shattered them, he’ll be fine. It’s definitely not an injury that you rush to recover from just like the scaphoid in the wrist (which I also have screwed together). I’ve had no problems with my foot. My buddy, however, had to fuse his ankle. He can still ride just the same.

I was hoping this thread would generate more feedback on the engine characteristics from guys that bought the new 250 and 350 RX's. The few reviews of the 250 I have seen have reported that the 250 RX pulls like a traditional 250 2T with plenty of top end pull. Not surprising as it runs the same size 38mm carb as the bigger bikes and has notably higher cylinder compression than the 300 or 350 RX. I did see some Vital posts about the Beta's being down on power compared to a Japanese 250 2 stroke, but that couldn't be...

The link can be useful if you're looking for a lower rear end or a more raked out front end to add stability. It won't have much effect on the motion curve, but in general the longer the link, the more linear the curve gets, which isn't typically a good thing. But that change is typically pretty small unless the link gets really long.

I’d like to see a 250 RX 4 stroke. I read on face book they were testing one. A reliable source said 2027 at the earliest if they go through with it.

If Beta is saying that all these RX 2T's are using the same valving in the suspension, I am a bit surprised when some magazines are saying it was a bit too stiff, while others are saying it is too soft. In my case, the rear was a bit too stiff at stock clicker settings, at least for the first few rides, but the biggest issue was the shock rebound was way too heavy. If I pushed down on the seat with my hand, it was so slow that you couldn't see it spring back like you normally would. If...
