If you say so...

Solid 9th in his Rookie Season

Then a 3rd in 2014

And a nice 11th in 2015

Then a win in 2016

I wouldn't say that screamed outdoor 450 championships.

Just for recency bias.

Jett went 4th hurt in his first season.

Then 1st

Then 1st

Then undefeated 2024 MX champion

Wow only one outdoor championship? Fair enough. My bad.

For some reason I have memories of him being quite dominant and battling with Amart non stop? I guess I'm just remembering battles from that one season haha

Even then Star was fucking with J-Marts bike in 2016 which is who I'm sure you are referring to.

Both J-Mart and A-Mart had bike problems and DNF's and Coops bike was perfect..... J-Mart the 2 time defending champion was in a Ezy-up at the back of the rig.

I put all the results up for his 250 career, I didn't cherry pick anything.

Missing some key context. What if I just said Jett got 9th in 2024 and left it at that

I've always thought it strange that Webb didnt translate well to outdoors on a 450. He was so good on the 250

Same. I remember him battling with Febvre at GH and MXdN on a 450. He was literally a better 450 rider back then while he was still racing a 250 fulltime

Its obvious you did not get the joke about outdoors.

Sorry yes I meant Jmart.

Ah yeah thats right he was setup in a tent outside the rig. And Webb recently admitted Bobby intentionally created the tension between them. I'm assuming Boddy favoured Webb for some reason for Jmart to go as far not using the semi? Interesting motivational tactics by the owner...

Yeah what’s with Webb not translating to the 450 outdoors?

Watching him outdoors in the 250F I was always thinking how dominant he would be when he moved up. I was a a fan of the young Webb.

It was weird to see him just never do well on the 450 outdoors. Still like the guy, but I just wish his talent went outdoors as it did indoors.

Stumps me kind if like how Dylan Ferrandis never really did much after his 2021 450 championship. He was doing “Stew” like stuff on the track that year and then after that year just kind of dropped off.

Not sure if it’s the workload of that is required plus risk that makes people like that that fade off and after doing spectacular stuff with results like that but who knows.

Webb would’ve had that 2015 title if he didn’t get hurt in Vegas that year imo

I feel this is not new news at all. Its been common knowledge this was his last year of outdoors. Headline says "breaking news", what?

Can you share a link where it was officially stated and released prior?

I remember walking into a local surf shop in North Carolina around 2004 and the guy telling me that as a moto journalist, I should check out this local kid named Cooper Webb. I found him to be an extremely determined, smart and talented nine-year old. It has been absolutely phenomenal watching him capture the dream that every moto rider wants. He deserves every dollar and accolade.

wtf?

why? he's only mentioned it in a dozen interviews this year, sorry if you weren't paying attention, lol

No one mentioned what Coop was wearing during that interview. It was all black with just one monster logo on the hat and shirt. No Star anything. Sure screams Tedder to me. It maybe true.

I heard Club MX at 1.5 mil per season. He wants to be close to his track and Lake Norman

Tedder deal has been done for a couple weeks now. Good move for him and the team. He rides factory equipment with testing help from KTM, keeps Monster and gear deal for himself. The money and factory support is there. Thinking Malcom or RJ lands there as well.

Kind of crazy that he’s a three time 450 SX champion but only has one 450 MX win. I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way, but it just goes to show how different the two disciplines are and how difficult it is to be elite at both.

More like he has talked about it but didn’t officially make a statement until now. Not the same.

Herr Wolf Licker….his mommy only lets the little thread bomber have 30 minutes of internet per day…he spent his 30 minutes in a Deegan thread choking on Jett’s balls….
