I am struggling with is -- I shouldn't care, I don't care about Ferry. But WTF is this. My only rational thought was Brown is a title contender for the championship but the series East just started and he didn't get hurt, it was the most " watch your inside" pass ever. Anyone banking on Pierce making a full season is a real gambler. Like I dont get it.
Pretty lame of the AMA, per usual
lmao
Seems like the AMA has finally decided that the rules are the rules and they need to enforce them (see Deegan & Marchbanks). We’ve definitely seen worse/more obvious take outs for the transfer spot, but if the rules say it’s a no-go, then it’s good they’re actually enforcing it.
Not because Brown was a title contender, because Brown is a Monster rider.

You see worse passes than that for the main all the time. I really fucking hate the AMA and their incompetence and inconsistency in enforcing penalties. Matter of fact I think most motorcycling racing sanctioning bodies do more harm than good. At least the AMA and FIM do imo
I thought Yogi (Ezra Lusk) and Albrecht were in charge of these calls, like its so god damn bananas.
On a brighter note, Ferry has really picked up the pace lately.
How many championship points did he have to give?
That’s pretty bad move to penalize Ferry, it was for the last transfer spot in the heat and not a terrible bonzai move like we’ve seen from other riders.
I think 5, which is weird for a heat, but also I thought license points were the new thing, lose so many then start getting docked. Not to mention he got fined money. Like this is bonkers.
What a bullsh#t penalty when going for the last transfer spot.
I wonder who Ferry pissed off, pretty lame…..just racing.
And the ama will turn a blind eye to VF.
AMA strikes again...or not strike? Who knows with them
Agree. Lame penalty. He was going for a spot in the main on the last lap. PB knows better too
That's it?? I was expecting to see Zacho v Joey but instead, that was....just a pass that happens by someone every single round.
If the ferry pass results in a penalty, are passes like zachos going to be a dq? This is embarassing. Dumb pass? Yes because it took them both down but it was for a spot in the main late in the race. Penalty worthy? Not even close, his intention wasn't to clean brown out.
If this is the new precedent for what's allowed and what's not, then we're going to start looking like basketball where any contact is a penalty (free throw). I would be scared to make any kind of aggressive pass after this.
Just bullshit.
What is the actual rule he broke......???
Let's just put it out there so we can have the precedent moving forward.
A load of crap.
Pit Row
Ferry must have shagged the daughter of one of the AMA officials, it's the only thing that makes sense
Bobby Regan or someone at monster. VERY surprised to see the penalty on DNGR tonight as tbh did not think it was warranted as how those were treated in the past.
Let the AMA know how you feel.

Is Supercross becoming badminton? I didn't think twice about that pass attempt, and then I heard about the pathetic penalty. Ridiculous.
Warning at most.
So Tomac must be getting a penalty for the JCoop attempt to then right?
AMA is a joke. They do nothing about Friese/ Moranz, take a bunch of shit for it then way over correct the next weekend.
Dumb move by Feery but the AMA can go suck it.
They’re not making good decisions.
Weak
Only a dumb move as he went down, other than that just a standard block pass for position
Exactly
Anyone else remember Atlanta with Reed and James Stewart? Or was that RC? 😂
Well, I mean, Ferry is a Honda rider...
Can’t get passed the reCaptcha.
