I should've went the used route too, but that ship already sailed. Nice thing about building them is it makes fixing and maintaining them a breeze. Hope I like the carpet stuff. OldTech knows what's up with the 1/8 scale off road racing. Man, that shit is fun! My last club race was Saturday and I am bummed.

Mostly race nitro buggy and truggy and use electric buggy and truggy for practice at big races because it can sit there while I'm in line and don't need a pit person. In the 90s I raced 2wd stadium truck but nowadays 8th scale 4wd is the way for me

If you can't feel the scuffs, they should not be a problem with your fork seals or bushings. You can grab a piece of green or light-gray Scotch-Brite and create a 60° cross-hatch pattern as you buff the tubes. I do that by wrapping the pad around the tube and grabbing it with my left hand while I use my right hand to twist the tube as I push or pull it through the pad. If you twist and push at a steady rate, you can create a very good crosshatch. Allegedly the light gray is about 600 - 800...

Ok, "insanity" is a little extreme in the title, but yesterday was the final straw - so I had to do something. Hard to believe this company is selling this type of part and they flat out tell customers it could break. No, doubt if / when it breaks for someone, a serious injury can happen. Bummed for the OP who now has a serious foot injury. It will probably be deleted but I posted a review on their website that included a link to this post and also pointed out the companies own disclaimer on the part possible breaking and that they could not be held responsible for anything. https://www.nicecnc.com/products/foot-peg-offset-lowering-mount-bracket… That sucks! Thanks for the warning. I used Nice CNC pegs before, they were fine, I checked and the pegs don't have this warning like your mounts. Seems crazy they would sell these for a motocross bike knowing they would snap.
