What can he really do? As long as Eli is in front of Hunter that's all that matters.

Hunter doesn't need outside help, and I'm sure he doesn't want it either.

And other than Anderson, I don't see Jett wanting to come in and take someone out, even if it is to help out his brother.

Maybe they can get Jett to write the pitboard messages. We all know how critical the pit boards are and that's one way he could help.

Jett doesn’t need to take anyone out to help Hunter he just needs to be between Eli and Hunter. 

I bet we see him in SX and shocker he’ll probably be near the front. 

Agreed, and the gate drops will help get him ready for Pala. It makes sense from a team perspective, especially if the points race is tight.

I could totally see him coming back for as many rounds as he can show up at.  He needs the points for SMX and the gate drops before outdoors kick off.  I think it's a 50/50 on if he "helps" Hunter or not.  I wouldn't blame him if he slowed up to get in between his brother and Eli/Ken/Cooper, but that is also a good way to get yourself hurt.  I could also see him coming in and beating his brother, thus "taking away" points from him and everyone losing their damn minds over it.  Either way I'm excited to see him make a return soon!

He slowed up to help Roczen win that SMX race a few years ago, so we know he has it in him!

This is about what I would expect in the form of "help". He ain't making an enemy out of Tomac for no benefit to him.

I don't think anyone wants to see a rider slowing down just to hand points to another rider, a la 2017, especially against Eli. 

Hunter and Eli are essentially tied on points at the halfway mark. Let them race for it and may the best man win.

If SMX showed us anything last year, Hunter doesn’t want a gift or sympathy.  He wants to win straight up.  

Jett winning wouldn’t be much help because it tightens points awarded if Eli and Hunter went 2 and 3, and I don’t see either of them consistently beating Jett if he’s riding near 100%.

I thought I heard Jett just started putting weight on legs last week.  Can't see him being back to SX ready this season.

This was brought up in the press conference after Indy. Hunter was asked about his pass on Prado after he let Eli by and pulled in front of Hunter. Hunter said “maybe Jett will come back and do the same to them.”

Does anyone know when Jett starts bike training again by the way ?

If he’s faster than Tomac, and not as fast as, Hunter.
