Family shit can go sideways sometimes. Been there, done that, it was awful, but now it’s all good. Pro racers aren’t immune to the same stresses and strains us normally folk are. I’ll be rooting for Jason when he returns.

Well, as soon as i will know the bike is reliable, i’ll get it, i’m a kawi fan. Been through more than 8 kawi’s 1 yami and 2 ktm. But my MC250 2024 is 4,5kg ~ 10lbs lighter than this. That’s a lot.

Go back and watch last year at Pala, or honestly almost any race. Most of the top 250 guys couldn’t put together two solid motos without crashing, getting bad starts, or fading late. Deegan deserves credit for being the most consistent rider in the class, and his fitness is clearly above the rest of the 250 field, but that’s very different from beating established 450-level talent. A lot of people act like he was dominating with pure speed, but he rarely had the fastest laps in motos. Ease of travel and airports, Lakewood is probably the easiest. But Budds Creek, Hangtown, Southwick and I think Pala are all pretty accessible. I think Millville is the best to spectate, but forget about getting out in a hurry.

My favorite spots are top of the hill past the club house right next to the step down triple, and the whole island area between Big Gulp and the run up to Henry Hill. Both spots have huge oak trees to provide great shade and you can see the whole track pretty much from either spot. Bring way more water than you think you will need.
