Last line of this is most telling.... if he changed some of the voices around him..... they all dance around it but never just say it..... they're talking about one person.
HE IS A QUITTER!!!!!
(Just kidding)
JT is talking about when Chase was at KTM..
Chase, it's time....

The only year vialle beat haiden was 2024. They didn't race the same coast in 25.
Seems about right this time of year. The Roczen fade should start soon too.
At least this weekend he won’t tuck the front
If you were him, would you even consider it? I'm sure he's more than happy at Star even if it means he's on less money than he would be at Factory Kawi.
Almost likely Prado not qualifying then 😂
I think he means Media. Chase went quiet at KTM also when fiddling around, right?
No interviews lately with Chase pre/post race, same as when he was with KTM
He did clarify that in some interviews. Pretty sure he said he needed a break, was getting burnt out,so many championship battles, year after year.
Damn, this is deja vu all over again.
Whether he's seriously hurt or not, his history have most of us just rolling our eyes and moving on to the next gate drop.
Thats not accurate ,
Chase aint no quitter he still busts his ass on the regular.
I think we can all agree that we hope he is OK and heals up soon. I think we can also all agree that in our sport these young men who are very, very fast from a young age and are positioned to be factory stars from a young age live in a very sheltered world. Racing, traveling, practicing, working out, over and over, surrounded by motorcycle people and their parents trying to accommodate them, perhaps interacting with other riders as well at times. Traveling through time zones weekly, to perform at the risk of their lives for millions of viewers, in multi-million-dollar stadiums, for international multi-billion-dollar corporations, armed with only their inherent skill, training, and maybe barely a high school education, probably just home schooling. That they at times cannot deal with adults who run their teams or their technicians is not a surprise, they have totally different backgrounds. I cannot think that the life somebody like Prado or Sexton leads is not that much different from when they were 16-17 years old, save for more money, both still isolated by their parents in a way even.
I’m not surprised, by any of this.
If front end feel is what he likes, wouldn't a Suzuki suit him best?
I heard he and Prado were seen playing 18 holes together on Thursday, riding in the same cart. Chase had a notebook and was writing quite a bit in it. Prado drove.
Pit Row
I think it's more about opening a spot for Sexton to go to Star than it is about JCoop going to Kawasaki.
Chase was up 3 shots at the turn so Prado got pissed at his 6 iron and stomped back to the clubhouse. Chase had to take the wheel of the cart but low sided it in a sand trap. Neither finished their round, both are shopping for new irons.
I don’t remember where I heard it, but somebody was saying a few weeks ago that it wouldn’t surprise them if Chase had an injury and dropped out of Supercross if things didn’t improve. I’m not saying that’s what happened but it is kind of ironic.
That means the 450 championship points contenders are now down to 4
his dad speaks for him?
There was a post on ig going around literally 2 weeks ago saying if chases bad results dont get better hes gonna fake an injury and pull out. I was like nahhhhh… Then the last race happened and a week later he pulls out 🤦♂️ Could be real but the timing is crazy.
Chase is now only reinforcing his patterns. No change. We are able to forecast next moves at this point. I'll try:
1. Time off to calm his thoughts and re-motivate to remount an ego-defense from the media/fan backlash.
2. Minor successes will come in the form of quali pole position or a heat win. He will thank team and make minor image repairs.
3. Mediocre results will continue. His ego will be unable to tolerate and ....
4. He'll pull off track and chalk it up to a minor bike or body issue; more races will be missed and we will get ultra vague press releases.
5. Media time will be non-existent for the #4.
6. Silence from Kawi will lead to public forming their own theories; all of which will not help team or rider
7. This is Chase.
Unless he can back it down to 98% and get control over the front-end, this will continue.
Minor successes = two 250 championships, indoor and outdoor 450 championship.
As frustrating as it can be being a chase fan it's takes like these that keep me rooting for the guy.
Chase wants to be THE GUY at a team and that sure the hell is not happening at STAR with Haiden there. JT made some interesting point in that what Chase wants a bike to do is impossible simply due to physics. He wants an extremely low rear end but want precise front end which is impossible and even when people tell him it will not work he does it and it does not work.
But 3 teams and he is the common denominator in the struggles. Hope he is ok but would also not be surprised if he is just cracked mentally and wants a break
Im a fan of Chase's riding, dedication, personality, and athleticism... But a saying comes to mind when I think about him these days. "If it smells like shit everywhere you go, look under your shoe"
Maybe that's been the problem? I don't know, but I remember reading that Chase and his father have been known to have a contentious relationship at times. Maybe Kier has too much influence over Chase.
I always thought that they cut the cord way too soon with KTM. He was winning races and a championship, and they bolted after one 2-year contract? There's not a lot of bridges left to be burned in this small industry.
