Careless and Outrageous! Silly boy should have surrounded himself with a gaggle of like-minded riders and wheelied through red lights and disrupted traffic in order to avoid prosecution.  He really should have known.

Either way I'm glad to see they are turning those nice hills into more wonderful track homes for the masses.

Might have just been where I grew up but every track or riding area had an over the road jump after that steel roots clip

My buddies got busted while driving on a golf course on a rainy night back in the 80’s in Long Beach , Ca. The cops must not have been golfers. They were turned loose after  passing the sobriety test and doing a set of push ups in a mud puddle.

Arrested? Good lord, all of it seems a bit much. The attorneys on here can correct me but before admission of guilt I think there may have been grounds to stand on, fighting this specific charge of "Wreckless Driving". AZ penal code states the following:

28-693. Reckless driving; violation; classification; license; surrender; aiding and abetting

A. A person who drives a vehicle in reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property is guilty of reckless driving.

B. A person who is convicted of reckless driving is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.

C. In addition, the judge may require the surrender to a police officer of any driver license of the convicted person, shall report the conviction to the department and may order the driving privileges of the person to be suspended for a period of not more than ninety days.  On receipt of the abstract of conviction and order, the department shall suspend the driving privilege of the person for the period of time ordered by the judge.

89. "Vehicle":

(a) Means a device in, on or by which a person or property is or may be transported or drawn on a public highway.

(b) Does not include:

(i) Electric bicycles, electric miniature scooters, electric standup scooters and devices moved by human power.

(ii) Devices used exclusively on stationary rails or tracks.

(iii) Personal delivery devices.

(iv) Scrap vehicles.

(v) Personal mobile cargo carrying devices.

Once again I am not a lawyer, and details matter. I also am unaware of any existing case law supporting law enforcement in this scenario. The way I see it Reckless driving wouldn't hold weight to an off highway vehicle, as an unplated dirt bike would not meet that level of scrutiny. Maybe he has already spoken with an attorney and was advised to proceed this way.

Regardless how you feel on this, this is exactly what gives dirt bikes a bad name. I live in a neighborhood like that and we have four wheelers that rip up and down the streets. It's not respectful to the people who live there. I cringe every time something like this pops up. When people that don't know anything about dirt bikes see me loading up or washing them in my yard do they think badly of me because I ride? I have been riding since the 1960s and yes the 1970s were assume. You could ride just about anywhere and nobody complained but this is not the 70s. Times have changed.

Every single person here sees the world in YZTV, don't lie. You see something like that and think it looks fun. We're all grown ass adults so we'd never actually do it, but we all saw a nice step-up in the photos and not a flight of stairs. You all probably also have the fingers out over the clutch and brake while pushing the shopping cart at the grocery store too.

You're worried about what someone else thinks of you having a bike?

Just on the brake.....  My local stores do not offer a clutch, however a clutch model prototype is the works for an early Summer 26 release at my local G&W Foods.....  I'll post pics.
