Sad. Muc-Off is a great company. They’re the only chemical company in our sport who does not test their products on animals.

Who is testing chain lube and tube sealant on animals? Yeah their grossly overpriced soap is not tested on animals. Big. Fucking. Whoop.

They, like most companies who claim to be “green,” are completely full of horseshit.

Their products suck balls. A 1 gallon jug of Simple Green is a fraction of the cost of their bike cleaner. Same shit, different color and much less marketing fluff to pay for.

Spare me the “we don’t test on animals” bullshit. Maybe if they did, they would have a better product.

That’s a user problem because their bike wash works just fine, I use it almost exclusively because I like that they don’t do animal testing and it works just as well or better than anything else I’ve used.  If you want to keep using Simple Green and dulling the hell out of all of your anodized parts be my guest, that’s what I call an idiot tax.

Gotta give it to the guy though, he’s made himself a presence in moto by simply reposting news from other outlets. Impressive, really.

Moto is a very niche sport that’s already almost oversaturated with media outlets, figures and podcasts. There’s just no need for a career reposter in this space.

agree to disagree & maybe I’m just different cause I watch & like other sports than just moto so I see other ppl like DBL cover nba , nfl , even the ufc cause some of my community members tag me in they shit & tell  me to report on it & im like nah cause Dana white & hunter Campbell ain’t say nothing yet but regardless DBL for moto is no different than somebody like the football forever page who mainly covers the nfl & some of college, yal worrying more about a damn social media guy than the actual problems with the sport tht can make the sport better than wht it already is

Look on any of the safety sheets. You can usually find them on the manufacturers’ websites, they all do it. They’ll tell you exactly what they do: forced inhalation, putting it in their eyes and on their skin, and making them eat and drink it.

It’s odd that you’re acting this insecure over a company choosing not to torture animals.

it would be interesting to know how much they were kicking in.

Purple Power/ Club Mx would be a sweet setup. The marketing strategy writes itself.... purple rims, bars and eng accessories.

That would be cool. They wouldn’t have to transport any tools since they are all one time use. They just show up and have a fresh toolbox and 2-3 of everything. Then at the end of the event the fans can get signed wrenches and such.

So according to the downvotes, everyone agrees to pay way more for bike wash and bike wash products to Muc Off because they “support the sport.”

But fuck all the MX gear companies, you’ll all go out of your way to buy Temu gear and not support them?

Make it make sense folks.

Not that I fully pay attention, but I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a muc off item being used. But I know they have been around a long time and I even remember them at dealer shows back in Indy. So people must use the stuff. If this is all true, I hope it’s not a late decision like geico where Brandon doesn’t have time to find funds and title sponsor for next year.

Lol.  Simple green will etch and discolor aluminum and rinse grease out of bearings.  I am not sure about animal testing, but Muc Off products do not suck.  They directly impact the sport with support along with a massive cycling presence.

On a side note, I am afraid we will see more of this.  The industry is struggling with retail sales and unless we see a big reduction in interest rates and other factors it will get worse.

I'm at Mini Os and the lack of respect from kids and parents, that I'm not surprised companies leave the sport. Thor has a hospitality truck set up with bean bag chairs and kids turned it into a jungle gym. Moto kids also cant listen to simple instructions about stay to the left or right of a starting lane to make room for others, and the parents are no better. And I guess free water in staging means throw the trash on ground. And dont get me started on golf carts. If I was a sponsor and saw the lack of respect or professionalism from many of these parents and kids I'd question my investment.

What do you expect when parents buy little Johnny 4 new bikes every year, have him stay in a luxury toy hauler and instead of making them work after school to help pay for his bike they just pull them out of school so they can stay at a training facility. Yeah no one is Telly Johnny to pick up his trash or what side of pit road to stay on

This is fascinating, thanks. Today I learned that Simple Green is tested on rats and rabbits.

I use Muc-Off for cleaning my street helmet visors, but I just happened upon them at a local shop. Now I’m glad I know more about them.

Basically the Parents who didn't get laid in High School are trying to make up for it by teaching little Johnny to be a cool kid instead of a humble, hard working human.

Zero of the cool kids I grew up with ride anymore and they don't get their kids into the sport. There parents taught them to be cool instead of teaching them to love the sport.

No mention of $1,000+ tariffs, but that damn interest rate is killing the sport 😂

Tariiff impact has not been a big deal yet, but it could be.  I was more referring to the economy overall and people not being comfortable spending money.  RV lots are overflowing, manufacturers are giving away cars compared to Covid, and most outdoor industries are struggling too.  Not bad yet, but it could get that way quickly.

Nobody cares about those things though. The only concern is “do they buy things?”, and the answer is yes.

I was in the same boat as you but I purchased their muc off soap for my foam sprayer on my pressure washer. It works pretty well 👍🏽

I’ve been buying Muc-off products for a few years- because they support moto. The soap works just ok, nothing special..I do like the multi spray (M94) and chain lube.

I’ll keep buying simply because they support/supported moto over the years…heck I still buy Peak Antifreeze!

It’s called freedom. The market will decide what stays or goes. The last set of Troy Lee gear I bought may as well have been from Temu.
