Guillod knows his way around an (euro) supercross track and wouldn't do bad. A long reached idea: Jago Geerts.
Dungey's came out of retirement once already....
Fine. I’ll fucking do it. What is the test track address. And probably the nearest ER
Maybe Kawasaki can use the big paycheck from Prado to hire Guillod (SX & Outdoors), Soubeyras (SX Only) and Geerts (Outdoors Only).

Jo probably has already inked a 3 year deal with Kawi for 2027.
I like this
This would be a great move by them and foolish of Jo not to take but I doubt it happens.
With some patience and a good riding coach, Geerts could become a good second rider towards 2027 in such a trajectory. 10 years ago he raced already finals in local supercross races, Jago Geerts on his 125cc and all the others on 250cc machines. There is only loads of work to give him that self confidence again.
Here's the track address:

Nobody has mentioned Freddie noren. Why isn’t he in the running ?
I think he's injured right now?
Geerts?
I'm not sure about this one...
What about Tommy Hahn?? Does anyone know his whereabouts and if he's still chuckin roost?? He'd be a perfect fit. Surprised no one has mentioned him yet.
Ducati
So we're now mentioning tommy hahn and noren for the vacant factory spot? With these random names maybe jeff ward can dust off the boots.
Kawasaki is sponsored by Maxima and Dunlop. Naturally Lechien for SX and Glover for MX.
Justin Hill 450 SX then Glenn Coldenhoff 450 MX and then possibly run 3 for SMX or just Justin
DeCoster left the mxdn manager position so he could train for SX . It's a done deal .
Pit Row
I see “Chicken” quite often and still on Kawi. No brainer….
McGrath! He's already on the Kawasaki payroll!
Luke Clout SX only then bring a PC rider up for outdoors
I feel like this is the logical option. Cheap, fast riders who can help develop the bike. Results might be a bit all over the show.
Glenn is motivated and will be refreshed/excited to be in the US. Justin had a great attitude this year and showed glimpses of the old Hill speed wise.
They will both have a bit of a point to prove with the bike too. Racers ego will have them believing they can ‘fix’ the bike and debunk the Prado theory.
Justin Hill burned his bridges when e strong armed JGR and Suzuki into giving him a 450 ride. Why would any factory want that on their team.
Ok…anyone asking where Barcia and Ferrandis are going should not be allowed to post in here until they’ve shown proof that they’ve read every related post about 2026. Keep up with the conversation, boys.
That said, they are the ideal riders shake down the Ducati program and get all the real world race testing done before the team lays out the cash for legit title contenders in the coming years. Ducati doesn’t play, they are going to BRING it.
Agreed that Jo could be THE guy at Kawi in short order, but you cannot discount how solid his Honda program is. Tough call on that one.
Personal Note - Chicken used me as a berm in practice at Surfercross this year. I saw him coming (I mentioned it was in PRACTICE, right?) and uprighted so he couldn’t take my wheel away and watched his tires run up and across my bike en route to the triple. Is he still fast? Oh hell yeah. To come out of retirement? No…that’s a big no for me dawg 😂
Kyle Webster??
I don’t know if any of the Aussies would have the stick to measure up indoors to be worthy of the Kawi spot. That said I think Jed Beaton would be the better pick, he was pretty good indoors in Aus last year. Clout is probably the best Aussie at SX but behind Beaton and Webster outdoors.
I don't think Hunter would get treated any different to Jett, and he wouldn't get more money on another team then he's getting from Honda
The Prado, Sexton, Shimoda, and Tomac silence is weird. Why haven't there been any press releases about 2026 yet? Surely everyone is locked in by now, which makes me think that something big is going on between KTM, Kawi, and Honda
Give it to Shane or Joey so we can finally see them battle for the championship!!! If not then I could see Cam McAdoo being the best candidate.
