i think mc was takin a stab at reedy for not signin up w/ big red...I'm sure they offered the spot to him b4 signing JG33....gotta agree w/ just about everything he said, especially the part about 'the crafty frenchman'. ' If he doesnt ride, i wont miss him"..good shit
I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere, maybe the Pulp show, that Reed had agreed to a deal with Team Honda and then JG came in and sold himself to them for a lot less money. Sounds like Honda is the one who burnt the bridge, not Chad.

I'm guessing Paul is talking about one of the Euro SX's that he helps get the American riders signed up for. I know Canard was supposed to go but is busy testing and training so maybe MC will fill in for him. Hope it happens. Will be great to see MC racing again. Did I win Paul? What do I get?

Some of the biggest Primma donnas in this sport, are the old stars, that are always talking about how they did this, and they did that, and todays guys have no heart bla bla bla. They sound like some fat unhappy nobody that want to talk about their old high school football days.

You heard MC state that he thought his record was safe from James grasp......what's the big deal? Jesus Christ .....the guy has earned the right to speak his mind on certain subjects. besides the fact....James himself opened that door last year when he mentioned that he thought he could beat MC's record.

By the way....I aint harping on you or trying to start any crap , i'm just sayin' you seem to have a slight grudge against MC for speaking his mind a little.
No issues here jeffro
Just a little difference of opinion.

Exactly.

I was surprised how honest, controlled but honest, he was with his comments about Reed and Christophe Pourcel. He didn't sugar coat it.

So, he's not a fan of Pourcel!
Why so he can turn HONDA into a SX only team?

I always like to hear what Jeremy has to say.In saying that it just sounded that he was a bit pissed about CR not joining the team he is involved with.
Either way, what Reed is doing is a brave move and if it doesn't work out at least he can say he tried and retire saying he gave it everything he had.

His opinion would sound much better if only these things were untrue: MC refused to ride any race outside the US unless he got a ridiculous amount of start money. Often he was the only guy at bercy who demanded it, in the end leading the organisers to invite fewer Americans so they could afford MC.. Its easy for him to talk about what others should settle for. He left Yamaha because he couldnt Get a contract with the same amount of money as he got When he was winning. On the money issue, although he might be right, MC isnt the guy to preach sanity

That made my week! MC looks like he's been training and looks damn good on the bike. He could still easily qualify at A1 from the looks of it. Can you imagine, MC rolling out at A1 and ripping a holeshot... everyone in the place would have their ears ringing for weeks.
i was at Phoenix with he did....it was awesome to see!!

I love how he just says what he thinks...."and Poucel, holden out for money in America? I'm not really a fan so...." lmao

You hang on every word and hear what you want to hear. Maybe something he said means more than the face value...so what?

well I'm not a stewart fan. But if JS is fit, he is gone win as much as he used to do. RD RV CR TC ... are all good but flat out my money is still on JS. But he needs to keep it on 2 wheels.

Watch A-1 from last year. That was a much less experienced and slower Dungey. How much faster has James got?

McGrath commanded a lot of money and he got it. He didn't hold out and not get re-signed because nobody could afford his asking price. Obviously somebody thought he was worth it. Pourcel? Not yet from what we can see.

-First, great vid. The guy is a stud on a bike and has a very high coolness factor.
-Second, MC is not only the King of SX, he could ride outdoors pretty well too, including being on a pretty bad ass des nations team where he kicked everyone's ass.
-Third, he was speaking honestly about something he knows more about than anyone else around here and it was great to listen to.
-Fourth, I love that he is protective of his record. He is proud of it and RC has flat out said that he would never be able to touch that record. James has made no bones about the fact that he is going after that record, and Jeremy rightfully pointed out that it is not going to get any easier with so many young guys who are not intimidated by James anymore.
-Finally, I don't think that anyone is going to be able to get to that record. I hope not. MC's record is like Ted Williams batting .400 in the big leagues. A few guys have gone into August, but then couldn't maintain that kind of consistency. I think that record is as untouchable as MC's SX record.
